If your machine turns off on its own, but doesn't happen all the time.  Its not very likely a problem with the game.  A failing power supply can cause that sort of problem.  I think an overheating cpu, or gpu could also trigger that.  YOu can use a power supply tester, but that will only tell you if a PSU is bad on startup.   What really tells you they are bad is when the PSU is actually stressed and then gives up after a period of time.

Things to look for , dust, hair and bugs.  Vacuum out dust in heatsinks and make sure fans and vents are clear of hair and dust.  DOn't let your fans freely spin when blowing and vacuuming dust out of them.  blowing compressed air into fan blades is a great way to dry up the packing grease and burn out your fans.  This causes fans to being to spin slower, causing heat build up and hides the problem because you see the fans spinning and assume they are fine.

Verify you are running a PSU that's powerful enough for your rig.

THere's probalby a few dozen other things to look at, but we can't say one way or the other what is actually going on with the limited details you have provided.
