Geckoman1234
I have always played Ark Mobile on a Solo island. I was wondering if it was worth it to play multiplayer. I would also like to know the cons of playing with other people.
RTGLoot
Solo pros: decay timer is not a issue game stops when you log off saves Solo cons: hard to learn all engrams breeding is slow if your bad at a game feature you miss out Multiplayer pros: you can learn a lot from tribe mates You are not alone other survivors can give you aid Other survivors have breed over powered tames that you can trade for different servers, unofficial offers unique experiences like role playing you can trade for blue prints you need free to play survivors can trade for payed items so they can enjoy them new viable play styles like trading, salvage, medic, honeyguides Multiplayer cons: decay timer means you or a tribe mate must use your base regularly or lose it tribe mates can inside you (destroy all your progress or steal) griefing see ( https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/topic/629660-community-guidelines-updated-72121/ ) In pvp your base can be destroyed one bug can destroy your base and you can’t reload a save server tame and build limit (if server is at cap you can’t build or tame) addictive no sleep Multiplayer Neutral: Time does not stop like single player in Multiplayer you can still play solo your reputation is important you can get more benefits from a upgraded account remember your server name you will need it Multiplayer is worth a try, just know how you would like to play pve, pvp, pvx, pvxc and be prepared for a few losses.
