SirSly Posted July 7, 2020 Share Posted July 7, 2020 Private Game on Xbox Possible? OK. I have a question. I have two Xbox's with Ark installed on them. My son and I want to play together, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do that unless I choose a Non Host Dedicated Server. The problem with that option is the tethering. We can't fully explore on our own and pool our resources. If we do a split screen on one Xbox, we still have the thethering problem PLUS reduced screen size. I tried to set my Windows 10 computer as a server, but then the XBox would timeout everytime it tried to connect to the server. I've even tried to setup my kids' XBox as a server to see if we could do a split screen on my XBox, but that was a failure too. Is there ANY WAY that we can play the game together without having to fork out money for a 3rd XBox or a monthly fee to these supposed 3rd party server places? If we try to join any of the existing ARK servers out there, they are all already over populated and no place for us to explore. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
