L7R Posted May 20, 2020 Share Posted May 20, 2020 Snapshot_9 Issue Hello, whenever my friend trys to join my server (Crystal Isles) it says either Lost Connection or It crashes/freezes on snapshot_9, this only happens on my server. He has tried uninstalling and reinstalling and verifying integrity of game files. I am thinking it is on my end with the server (hosted with shockbyte). Is it a server issue or a issue on his end, and how can I fix the problem/help him with fixing the problem. (The server works fine on my end) The server has 12 mods. reddotjellytot Posted May 20, 2020 Share Posted May 20, 2020 This happens on official when the sever mass kicks, it hangs at snapshot_15 I think the number is based on what map ur on, I can only assume its server side issue on ur part, it might stay on snapshot because there is a timeout issue with the server connection then kicks u back to the main menu Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
edandbunny Posted May 21, 2020 Share Posted May 21, 2020 This site has a page that gives suggestions on how to deal with that and other issues. 1 go to top of page and click support. 2. click on the technical box. 3. click the link for solution. You will need to scroll down a bit to find the topic you need. Even if you get your basic issue fixed, you may still see an occasional freeze on snapshot_. I find it tends to do that anytime i screw up the password. The fix, just shut the game down and restart it and you should be good. Oh, you are the server owner. Another thing you can try is a direct invite and see if your friend can get in that way I should say the initial advice is for your friend to do if they havnt already. L7R Posted May 22, 2020 Author Share Posted May 22, 2020 I have deleted all mods and The map that is in use thru FTP (Crystal Isles), This still did not fix the issue. Nothingness Posted May 28, 2020 Share Posted May 28, 2020 For our dedicated, we see this happen when someone attempts to login and enters an invalid password.
