CitoaK Posted April 23, 2020 Share Posted April 23, 2020 Bypassing turrets by hiding in a dead tame. I know from experience this use to work. You drag a dead tame while crouching inside it and turrets would not target you due to line of sight. Ive gone into single player to test this method and it no longer works for me with tek turrets on players only. Can anybody verify that this glitch does not work anymore and when it was patched? ForzaProiettile Posted April 24, 2020 Share Posted April 24, 2020 Even better you used to be able to drag a dead dino (a tamed one that was in an enemy faction to that turret owner's) and the turrets would keep shooting at it until either they ran out of ammo or the corpse disappeared/got eaten. There are still a lot of handy tricks for dealing with turrets for when raiding on foot. For me the one of the most fun aspects of this game is coming across a well defended turreted base and working out a plan to get inside without using any tank dinos and without killing anything to alert the owners.
