Squidmyers
ark server not working on new eero smart router I just got home from college for the holidays. I’ve been playing with friends on an ark server I host on my computer. It works fine in my own house I live in at college. There I have my port forwards and everything set up and it works perfectly fine. However I came home to spend time with family and stuff for break and they have this weird eero smart router. It has an app instead of a router log in, but I found the port forward and fire wall exception area and added the ports. I have no idea why that didn’t work. The server will launch and day available but I cannot access it through ark or through direct connection in steam.
Larkfields
If you're trying to join your server from the same LAN as the server, then your router needs to have NAT-Loopback (aka NAT-Reflection) enabled. Not all routers support this.
rayandexter1
As far as I know the eero is allowed to maintain the LAN even after being rebooted. I am not aware of any issues with this feature in the newest proessays firmware version.
