What are some tames that are completely pointless to tame without the saddle?

What are some tames that are completely pointless to tame without the saddle?

Any major ones? I know a quetzal would do no good without one

They're like a giant ugly rat on your shoulder.  They steal stuff from people.  If you're gonna PvP, then you want something like the micro-raptor that can knock people off mounts, or something for utility like an otter.  And if you're PvP then you want something that looks cool like a Featherlight or an Otter.
