Poison - What is the cure / antidote?

When you get poisoned by something like a scorpion is there a cure or antidote you can use and is it possible to do so before blacking out?

You can eat stimberries to reduce the torpor (poison) and it will prevent you from blacking out if you can reduce the torpor enough. Be careful though stimberry causes dehydration.

Another item which reduces your torpor is Stimulant (Which you might not have access to if you are just starting out). It does not cause dehydration, decreases torpor by a more significant amount AND increases stamina I believe

It's not 'harm' poison it affects your topor. Have some stimulant in your quick bar and it should bring it down enough so that you don't pass out.

Just to be clear, poison is ingested, and venom is injected.  You're not getting poisoned, you're getting injected with Venom.  

That said, to answer your question, always carry Stem Berries in your hot bar if you're on foot.

Stimberries are my go to for scorpion stings and Titanboa bites.

You may be right but the game says you've been poisoned,and venom is deemed a poisonous  substance, so symantecs really..  either way try to use stimulants just more effective  and weigh the same as berries..
