That's not likely, the author got paid, no doubt, but once work on the mod is done, all connections between the mod author and WC are more or less severed...... maybe they're consulted about future map specific updates, I really don't know...... but the author of the S+ mod kinda spoke about this when they decided to use his content.... he got paid, he didn't get a job at WC, and he didn't get rich from it....by the time it was all said and done, he wanted nothing more than to step away from it all..... and that's the most widely used mod in all of Ark.
