sevzirfo
Played three hours in the ARK (online \ offline) - the version is quite playable. Compared to PS4, the graphics are worse, but not so much that the fans of the game would stop playing it. The gameplay is still extremely interesting. The main advantage is that you can take a full-fledged game with you and continue to defend the base or tame a ferocious dinosaur for five hours continuously (automatic translation). ( PS4 - 1000h ARK
Coachbrian
The bad render/draw distances definitely make it interesting. As another PS4 player with lots of hours in Ark, my opinion of the Switch version is different than yours. I got a refund.
Maverick81PL
Im huge fan of this game. Have 1000+ hours on PC. I buy this on switch and game is unplayable on this state. Im stop playing this on switch and get refund in local shop. so... NO fans are not going to play this!
sevzirfo
I play on the pve server, 65 lvl. After buying a professional joystick, the difference between playing on PS4 and NS is almost not noticeable (my personal impressions). It's also interesting to play, like on PS4 (Google translation)
Maverick81PL
On switch I have 19 tamed dinos and 30 FPS On PS4 I have 15 tamed dinos and game is unplayable for me. So maybe on PS4 we have better graphics but game at some point become unplayable. Now I prefer Switch ARK than PS4
Navydog23
I am up to 76 and have roughly 10 or so dinos. Only thing I noticed is some areas of the map the graphics glitch. As well as the time out but when logging into the game. Takes me 10mins to join server because of it. But the game is enjoyable only had 2 crashes and heard someone fell threw the map on the server. The alpha and yuty spawn rates are high but not to bad. Definitely better than PS4 I can agree PS4 is horrible to play with crashes and rollbacks. DiEsmitty
803 hours on PC, and I like the switch version. It is totally playable albeit it needs a little love.
StarbuckR6
I love the game but it looks really really really blurry, I hope they improve it.
ZkkyLine
Honestly im just happy it runs on the switch. I expected worst considering on my ps4.. it still had massive issues. If they drop a couple more patches it will be even BETTER. Undocked is horrible. But docked plays well enough. CHYEAHH
Berserkerkitten
I think it looks absolutely awful on Switch, but my gf and I have been playing non-stop since release on Switch, we've got dozens of tamed dinos, we're about to craft saddles for our rexes... it's ugly, but we're having fun. Tohru
I'm still wondering why people compare the Switch to the PS4, as if the Switch should be just as powerful and capable to run a game a MASSIVE as ARK. ARK is very enjoyable on the Switch, especially docked. The gameplay is there at least, and all we can do is look forward to 2019 when more updates and maybe DLC are released. I definitely recommend the Switch version to those who have never played ARK and don't have/don't expect to have the game on any other console any time soon.
