Aguyonadino
Just curious how asking a question makes you a mini modder. Nothing further
Volunteer Moderator ciabattaroll Posted August 9, 2017 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted August 9, 2017 Mini modding would be being a regular user asking to have forum related things done in such a manner as though you were the moderator of a thread or section, like for example, saying that two or more threads that cover the same exact topic should not be merged but rather should be left to clutter up the section of the community hub upon which they are located. Aguyonadino
What if said post was merged with a simple yes or no, and one was a debate with thoughtful respone? Hypothetically of course.
Volunteer Moderator ciabattaroll Posted August 9, 2017 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted August 9, 2017 Doesn't matter. If they're all covering the same subject then even if one goes with yes or nos and the other goes with debates then they still get merged.
Aguyonadino
So if one is more creative with subject headings they wont get merged with generic headings?
Volunteer Moderator ciabattaroll Posted August 10, 2017 Volunteer Moderator Share Posted August 10, 2017 No. For example, a yes or no thread about the flyer nerf gets merged all the same with an actual discussion thread regarding the flyer nerf as they both broach the same subject. Aguyonadino
But if the first post you see is a yes or no question vs a post that sparks actual discussion, it seems to deter the dialogue from developing. Please correct me if I'm wrong or missing something.
