Shaolin
I have a bit of a question for clarification. We live on Tropical North on Centre map. Our water pen is at the end of that long channel with the cliffs either side which is blocked in by a few pillars and a behemoth gate. What stops dinos from spawning in water? I know foundations, pillars with ceilings, fence foundations with walls etc. Do pillars on their own have a spawn radius on them or if they are stacked? does the behemoth gate have a spawn radius on it? What we wanted to do was use an area as a bit of a trap for the stuff that spawns in the channel. we ran pillars from the behemoth gate either side so dinos couldnt beach themselves then put another behemoth gate in but this seemed to kill any spawns and even overnight nothing spawned back so i've torn down the second gate. Just want to know what could be blocking the spawns? Attached a quick SS of what we are doing so far.
eESTlane
i see a coel didn't use fence founds for the behe gates? if not, then nothing should block spawns. you could do a manual dino wipe (using a mount) to reset the whole area of any creatures, and come back after an hour. Shaolin
No, gates were placed freely. Only thing there is pillars and the gate
