A large submarine craftable like a mek, but it can only remain underwater, it is large enough to walk around in, but not as large as a boss, why pilot center is in the front which is a flat glass wall slanted slightly forwards towards the top, it will also have a medical bay, an armory, and a navigation and moon pool station.

Art once again done by the amazingly talented Riskybiscuits Species: Shastasaurus Sikanniensis Time: Middle-Late Triassic Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Passive Wild The Shastasaurus is one of the largest ocean dwellers I have ever witnessed on any of the Arks rivalling the Leedsycthis in terms of sheer mass and being too large for even the mighty tusotuthis to grab a hold of. However, despite its titanic size it is incredibly passive mostly ignoring all other creatures in its vicinity as very few are a threat to it with it only really focusing on smaller schools of fish which it feeds on. If a threat does arrive though such as a group of Mosasaurs or a Leedsycthis it has the special ability of echolocation and is able to detect the threat coming from a mile away. Not just that but it’s echolocation is so powerful that it can charge a large sonic blast with it being able to disorient nearly any hostile allowing the creature to make a quick getaway. Also, much like it’s close relative the ichthyosaurus it is a very social animal living in a tight family unit however due to the sheer size of the Shasta's appetite each member requires an enormous quantity of food and as a result the family units must separate to try and find food on their own to avoid competing for food sources. Sadly, due to the family units splitting up to feed many shastas will never reunite with them and will become incredibly isolated as a result. Domesticated As most Shastasaurus have become isolated and alone due to separating from their families all it requires to domesticate one is simple companionship the best way I have found to do this is with it’s close relative the Ichthyosaurus simply bring a group of them over and the 2 species will begin to interact with the Shastasaurus eventually joining the group and therefore your tribe. Once tamed the Shastasaurus makes for an incredible beast of burden able to carry an insane amount of weight due to this a lot of survivors have constructed a special saddle on the back of the creature this saddle is essentially a submarine as anyone inside it is able to breath and survive the intense pressure of the deep ocean. The saddle also comes equipped with Torpedoes that are essential for any underwater combat as they deal heavy explosive damage. And that’s not even the best part of the saddle when the shastasaurus surfaces above the water the saddle will transform and essentially turn the Shastasaurus into a whaling ship coming equipped with Harpoon launchers these harpoons come equipped with Metal wiring that is attached to each harpoon once fired at a creature it prevents them from moving allowing survivors to easily catch creatures. Abilities and features ·When underwater Saddle acts as a submarine survivors will not lose oxygen and will be able to build in it ·Saddle fires torpedoes these are underwater specific projectiles that deal heavy explosive damage upon impact and they can only be crafted in the inventory of the Shasta (similar to the Equus) ·When the Shasta surfaces the saddle transforms into a whaling ship where the submarine dome disappears and opens up to reveal Harpoon guns these guns are manned turrets that come equipped with metal wiring attached to each harpoon and when fired at an enemy creature it prevents them from moving and essentially binds them this can also be done on enemy players and land creatures and if a creature is small enough you are able to reel them in closer even larger creatures can be reeled in if enough Harpoon guns are fired on it. However the guns have their weaknesses to compensate firstly a creature or enemy player can break out of the Harpoon if they struggle enough (similar to the desmodus or Bloodstalker) and the Harpoon turrets have a durability meter and after a while will require repairs ·Saddle also comes equipped with a Submarine scope allowing you to view the surface of the water while submerged it also acts as a magnifying glass and shows the current health and torpidity of a creature ·Cannot be grabbed by a Tuso due to it’s sheer size ·Has echolocation this essentially gives the Shasta a built in submarine radar allowing it to detect any hostile creatures or players in the immediate area and Highlights everything nearby ·Can charge up a sonic blast with it’s echolocation when fired it disorients enemies essentially acting as a flashbang grenade and enabling the shasta to make an escape if the fight looks to be unwinnable this blast also can disable tek structures and gear including tek underwater bases ·Is very efficient at gathering oil from underwater oil veins and gathers Black pearls effectively from eurypterids and other creatures that drop them ·Saddle is similar to the andrewsarchus saddle as it doesn't require anything to power it and will produce oxygen in the submarine mode for no cost ·Shastasaurus can use it's massive tail to create large whirlpools in the water these can trap enemies in them for a short period of time and disorient them ·Can use a type of suction feeding to suck smaller creatures into it's beak and grip hold of them ·If swarmed the shasta can fire off a sonar pulse this will be a concussive explosion of sound coming off the shasta that will push all enemies back when the shasta is being swarmed ·Can only be tamed by bringing a bunch of tamed Ichthyosaurus or other Shastasaurus and putting them on wandering near it this will cause the wild shasta to interact with those tames and slowly begin to integrate into your tribe however if one of it's companions or the shasta itself is hurt the taming effectiveness will decrease and if one of them is killed the shasta will no longer be tameable and If the player attacks one of the shasta's companions or the shasta itself the whole group will become hostile to the player

Forgot to mention it but all art was done by Sophocles Common Name : Tylosaurus Species : Tylosaurus necrodon Time : Late Cretaceous Diet : Carnivorous Temperament : Aggressive Wild: Until recently I thought I had seen all the oceans of the ark had to offer. That was before I came across Tylosaurus necrodon. While in real life Tylosaurus and Mosasaurus were near the same size and rivals, the Tylosaurus of the ark seems to have taken a different approach to things. It is significantly smaller and has a body plan more suited for speed rather than the mosasaurs' brutish size and strength. I have also found some evidence that Tylosaurus seems to have some sort of venom which could be attributed to its close relation to modern day monitor lizards and snakes. Domesticated: A tamed Tylosaurus is a necessity for any survivors who plan to venture into the depths of the arks oceans. Its sturdy slender body makes it the perfect candidate for a primitive submarine saddle. I've also seen some tribes collect Tylosaurus venom to use as a substitute for narcotics when taming creatures. Taming: To tame a Tylosaurus you must show it you are able to handle its speed. It'd be very similar to how you tame Equus and Andrewsarchus where you have to feed it a certain item then wrestle it in a rodeo scenario. Submarine: The Tylosaurus would have an industrial looking saddle similar to the Andrewsarchus’s. It would fully surround the survivor and provide oxygen that can be replenished by surfacing or beaching the tylo. The saddle would also have 2 propellers that can be powered by gasoline which would allow the tylo to increase its speed even more and build up to a ram attack. Venom Tylo’s primary attack will increase Stamina drain, and cause torpor gain based on how much they move and burn Stamina. However the real use of it comes with taming other creatures. Survivors will be able to collect venom and use it as an narcotic version of sanguine elixir where it will automatically fill half of the target's torpor bar. It only works on creatures already knocked out though. Alternatively you can use the venom to make a special type of dart that has the same effects of tylo’s primary bite(stamina drain/torpor gain based on how much they move and burn Stamina) which would be especially useful against flyers. Raming: In real life Tylosaurus was thought to use its blunt shaped head as a ram to ambush and stun its prey. In game you will be able to charge a strong ram attack while using its saddle's propellers. The more momentum the tylo picks up the more damage the charge does. Stuns: The rubber in the saddle cancels out all stuns from eels and jelly fish. However and unsaddled tylo will still be vulnerable to stuns. General Things to Clarify: Ive seen some people comment about a few things so i just wanna add a couple of ideas here that i may have forgotten to add in the main submission. Firstly the saddle will allow you to breach the surface of the water. Also in case you end up landing on land tylo will be able to beach itself and return to the water in a similar vein as modern day orcas. This art is just concept stuff and i imagine the ingame tylo to be more around basi size. Also i imagine the saddle to be more of a sleep capsule type thing.

In my time here on The Center I have never encountered a creature more feared by the native coastal tribes, yet one would think they are a myth due to how rare they are. I myself have only encountered the Creature once on a Expedition documenting a tribes attempts to hunt the beast, within the lands of The Center the Kronosaurus is held as a beast of burden but also of fortune, being highly ravenous the Kronosaurus has devoured it's fair share of treasures beyond a survivors wildest imagination, whether that be from some unfortunate traveling survivors or devouring the same people seeking out the treasures these beasts have, while extremely difficult I have seen the tribes that amassed fortunes from hunting one and even mounting their heads as a trophy to signify they are a tribe to be feared and respected. I have also heard they can rarely be found in the deepest depths of the ocean with survivors claiming they have seen eerie lights emanating from a massive creature, whether this is a Kronosaur or not however remains a mystery as none were brave enough to approach it For creatures so massive they are surprisingly elusive, a hunting party could never hope to track one down, so instead the tribes took note of the creatures ravenous appetite and killed several creatures in the surrounding area, the corpses gained the creatures attention drawing it out for the hunting parties to face. The hunting party I was with had all but been wiped out, not even the Electrophorus could stun it or the Megalodons could bleed it since its scales were too thick and the beast was even taking down Mosasaurs with not much of a fight, the beasts roar still lingers in my mind, it was so loud it was hurting the tames and survivors hearing it disorienting them and if underwater created a powerful shockwave infront of it, I was lucky enough to escape with very few survivors to a nearby island. Domesticated While the Kronosaurus is hunted by most there are rumors of a Survivor who had managed to somehow tame one of these monsters, with the story going he had to hunt the most dangerous alpha predators in the sea and offer parts of them to the beast, after taming it he apparently equipped the beast with a highly advanced oval shaped platform saddle that created a barrier that acted similarly to the Tek Moonpools, if it is true then I can only imagine he is living deep in the ocean right now with his Kronosaurus. Also if it has devoured countless treasures I can only imagine the yield it has when it devours creatures for the survivor who tamed it While I haven't seen a tamed one myself I can safely say whoever controls a Kronosaur controls the ocean itself.

Livyatan - sea predator with submarine saddle (walk in saddle)
Abaddon23 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
The Submarin Saddle!! It is supposed to be a walk in saddle, a indoor submarine saddle as a little base an armory. the biggest saddle ever in the ARK history!! And he have also a periscope in it!! the ideas from ThatWAFFLEGuy49 My suggestion for the saddle is, as explained above, a metal saddle that encloses the riders (which can hold a similar number of players to a diplo) and provides them with oxygen, allows for missiles to be fired out of the top and into the air to hit targets on land that are targeted via an aiming system that uses the RTS system to click where the missile (which would Rocket Propelled Grenades for normal ammo or Rocket Homing Missiles if the rider just wants to set the target and forget it for continuous firing on that one particular spot). It could also have a second saddle which would be cheaper to create, but wouldn't provide oxygen to riders and would resemble a simple wooden ship on the back of the Livyatan with cannons along the sides for whale defense (just as Davy Jones intended). It would also gain a defensive buff if it is fed a Megacheleon shell fragment, an speed buff if fed a megalodon tooth, or can be enraged into an attack buff if fed a tuso tentacle. My personal suggestion for taming a Livyatan is to use harpoon guns and tranq spear bolts to lower the "rage" meter while it's trying to run away, then feeding by hand once it's been soothed (via similar minigame to the Equus, where the survivor holds onto one of its fins while it's thrashing about until it can be fed to increase the taming percentage), then working together with it to either kill whatever prey it is currently hunting (like an Amargasaurus, but easier, as there will be a prompt revealing what the Livyatan is craving at that moment) or, if you're lucky enough to have the organs it wants specifically (Megacheleon shell fragments, megalodon teeth, or Tuso tentacles) on hand, you can feed it the organs by hand for a little bit of an increased taming speed instead of hunting down the prey and killing it. Knocking it out results in the Livyatan drowning, as it still has to breach the surface at some point to refill its lungs, although it can hold its breath for an incredibly long amount of time. or a other saddle idea: Rainboy from the Fjördur Submission!! so it will be similar to the astrocetus but underwater, and its saddle will be basicly the top of a submarine. and instead of manned turret it has homing or normal torpedo(kinda like the rocker launcher ammo where it has homing and non homing.) and instead of the bombing ability it will have cruise missile. by using this ability to either will use it like the cruise missile we have in the game rn( you have to control it yourself) or it you can set a location for it to hit. and player will not drain oxygen when riding it. to balance it out. to use the cruise missiles. every shot will cost tuso tenticle(s). (similar to how magamasaur need metal ingot and astrocetus needs ambergris. ) and it is weak to mosasaurus and is very slow. and then saddle will have a enclosed prebuild room that is water free. kinda like a mixture between a platform saddle and a underwater vacuum compartment. where it will just be a empty room and you can build in it. The Submarin Saddle!! It is supposed to be a walk in saddle, a indoor submarine saddle as a little base an armory. the biggest saddle ever in the ARK history!! And he have also a periscope in it!! KapitanKibiro02 ideas from the Fjördur Submission!! Wild: This Beast is quite slow and lumbering at first, simply swimming about rather absentmindedly all throughout the sea. Seemingly aware of it's status as "The Biggest and Baddest thing in any body of water", until either a starving Mosa or Gutsy Tuso provokes it. Then it quickly goes on the offensive. Also like it's more modern relative the "Sperm Whale" it has incredibly versatile and effective Sonar Capabilities, however due to Livyatan's massive size and almost frighteningly somehow higher intelligence, it appears to have been able to weaponize it's Sonar Capabilities, giving it a highly stunning projectile, to smaller creatures (like say, a survivor looking to tame it) this may deal severe, lethal damage. But to something as big as a Mosasaur it's much more effective as a stun option, allowing Livyatan all the time in the world to swim up to it's newfound prey and bite a massive chunk out of it.Tamed: Despite it reacting to most land creatures with more curiosity than aggression, Livyatan's ability to kill a Survivor without even needing to touch it means it's safe to say that taming a creature this absolutely massive and powerful is no easy task. However once tamed this becomes an incredibly reliable companion and mobile fortress. It's Saddle being able to be built upon whilst also allowing submersive capabilities. I've seen warring tribes pit Livyatan against each other in an "epic sea battle" for rich underwater resources. Also as a way to easily destroy enemy ocean platforms, Livyatan is able to use a very very short quick burst of speed and use it's massive head as a battering ram. needless to say, if I were a pirate or someone who lived for the open seas, you could do absolutely no better than this Lethal Leviathan. In all seriousness having a creature that's meant to be like an actual massive slow ship that kinda goes at it's own momentum. Instead of just "an underwater rex" like the majority of what's in the ocean feels like. there's no variety in the oceans except for the Tuso because it has unique attacks and abilities and the Megachelon because you can permanently breath and build a base on it's back, but there's not enough space or build limit to make it into a proper "Armored Sub" and not to mention it's attacks are pathetic. having the Livyatan fill the role of a fusion of a Nuclear Sub and a Gangplank Galleon or something, as well as just naturally having good stats would completely revitalize Ocean Combat and make it much more diverse and fun for a lot of players, and would also double as a way to actively (and fairly) attack players on Ocean Platforms as well. IskOsc ideas from the Fjördur Submission!! "Wild: Livyatan Oceanusrex is the largest and most powerful aquatic animal I've ever seen on the ARK, even slightly beating the leedsichthys in sheer size and power! Because of this, they're the absolute top predator in the ocean, hunting everything from plesiosaurs to mosasaurs to even tusotuthis, which happens to be their favorite food! There's a reason they're called the King of The Ocean! Like any whale, these creatures have echolocation abilities, however livyatans use their extremely loud sounds not only as a way to navigate and communicate, but also as a stunning and deafening area attack, which it primarily uses to stop incomming attacks and creatures attempting to flee, so escaping it won't work either! Domesticated: Although tough to do, it is indeed possible to gain the trust of a livyatan. If you do manage to, then you have one of the strongest mounts possible! Not only is it strong, but it can use its echolocation as both a way to scan the area for nearby hostiles and as a supersonic attack, stunning and weakening creatures nearby. Being the natural predator of the tusotuthis, it's evolved to do especially well against them, killing them easier than almost any other creature." General description: As mentioned in the dossier, the livyatan is the new strongest water creature in ark, being strong enough to take down anything in its path in a fair 1v1. It's basically the giga of the ocean, having the same spawn rate and stuff, perhaps having a bit lower stats but making up for it with more stamina and its echolocation, which it uses both like a parasaur does and as a sonic blast that stuns, deals damage to and weakens nearby creatures. Being the king of the ocean, it will attack absolutely anything that's not either smaller than a basilosaurus or an alpha named alpha tusotuthis. Yes, they will fight and stand their ground, even sometimes killing wild alpha tusotuthis. Abilities: lmb: Bite - A basic bite, its main way to kill. rmb: Sonic Blast - The livyatan lets out a huge sound blast, stunning any enemy creatures as well as dealing damage and increasing the amount of damage they take for a short while. c; Sonar - Like the parasaurs. Turret Mode: The same as the parasaur. You can change it to other tribes/attacking creatures only, and in doing so will also change the manual sonar to do the same. Passive: Squid hunter - Livyatan deals more damage to tusotuthis and their alpha variant, as well as taking reduced damage from them and being unable to be blinded by their ink.
