Stupendemys natator, the alligator-eating turtle
cart400 posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Stupendemys was a tortoise of titanic proportions that lived in the Miocene in northern South America, but this subspecies still managed to surpass that size. Wild: In the wild, stupendemys natator is a born hunter hunting animals from fish and mainly sarcosuchus which is her favorite dish, being an agile swimmer one can expect that her speed on land is not the best but on the contrary she is very fast on land. Domestication method: The taming of stupendemys natator is not the easiest you will have to find a stupendemys nest where you will feed a chick with meat and start a domestication process where if you give it a time when the stupendemys mother is on the prowl she will attack you after this process you will have a strong hoof companion by your side. Skills: Bite: Basic attack with moderate damage. Bite Throw: In this skill your stupendemys throws its neck forward grabbing with a bite and pull for heavy damage. Claws in sight: Attack with the stupendemys claws which only works in water and removes it from handling by argentavis, rhyniognatha and Quetzalcoatl. Liabilities: Crocodile Killer: This passive brings a buff that increases damage against sarcosuchus by 200%. Piranha Repellent: Scares nearby megapiranhas into fear and flees. Hardened Hoof: Decreases damage dealt to creature by 15%. Dossier: I saw few creatures with an affection for a certain type of prey as Stupendemys natator has, this giant is native to beaches, swamps and rivers and is a literal thick shell its claws prevent it from being caught in the claws of animals like Rhyniognatha and Quetzalcoatl, in addition to its swimming speed which is incredible, remember these animals are very jealous of their young but their domestication can only be done from them so it is necessary.- 5 replies

Protostega The ocean support and chemist.
BunnyElf posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Protostega is a genuis off prehistoric sea turtles. Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protostega Name: Protostega: Group: Reptile Diet: Pesketariane: ( Cinidra Toxin, prme fishmeat) Temperament: Skittish. Dossier: Wild: Protostega is a quite large and extremly skittish but then again when your so far down the food chain I guess yor best chance is to flee not fight. Protostega spend most off there days feeding on cinidras and sea weed along the sea bed and they seem to only come on land during nesting season. it`s shell is pretty primitive and leathery and do not provide much protection but thats not that needed when you can outswim any predetor and when they first get hurt it seems like there diet off the cinida helps them quickly recover. Domesticated: As a domesticaded creature Protostega`s primary roles seem to be scouting and transporting good trhu the ocean and as a medic for other creatures. there high speed in water even when carring plenty of cargo makes them great for transporting goods over long distances quickly. And while it itself isn`t a fighter protostega helps out in battle bye emiting a chemical it produces to help it`s ally recover quickly. The chemicals protostega produces is has great properties that many tribes use in there cooking to give it a boost to there imunsystem and recovery. Abillites: 1 Bite: Left click preforms a simpel bite attack (not very strong) 2 Healing: Rightclick to preform a burst off healing ( hold down to increas range and power). When protostega kills cinadras it stores it`s toxin for later use. Using Protostega`s healing abillity uses up toxin, holding down right click gives better range and effect but consume more toxin. 3 Spin: Protostega spins around (vertical) and creates a shock wave that pushes enemies away while giving itself and it`s ally a speed boost. Saddle: The chemist`s saddle. Protostega`s saddle comes with a chemist bench and allows you to create the Proto-chemical, a chemical made from cinidra toxin that can be used in any dish to give it a healing boost. up to 3 survivers can ride on the saddle ( 1 driver +2 passengers) at the same time. the passengers can use tools/weapons while rideing. Taming: Wild Protostegas can`t be tamed. Along the beaces off the center you'll find varius mounds called protostega nests. Interacting with thees allowes you to start a minigame to grab yourself a turtle. A hatchling wil emerge from the sand and start slowly make it`s way to the ocean while wild iththyornis wild start gathering and swooping down trying to kill and eat the baby. to succseed the taming you need the fend off the birds until the hatcling reaches the ocean where it will rapidly mature and become tamed. the baby can be feed cinidra toxin to heal it but it won't get back the taming effectiveness. The further a mound is away from the ocean the higher level hatchling and longer it wil take for the hatcling to reach the ocean. Thank you for looking at my idea. -

Common Name: Carbonemys Species: Carbonemys obibimus Time: Danian Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Defensive Wild: Carbonemys obibimus is one of the least aggressive creatures on the island. Were it not for the plethora of predators on the island, I'm certain it would spend its days basking in the sun, eating, or sleeping. Carbonemys leads a simple, solitary life. It seems to be one of the most peaceful animals I have yet encountered. With its slow walking speed, the only things that keep it safe are its surprisingly fast swim speed, and its incredibly thick shell. I would not be surprised to see a Carbonemys withdraw entirely into its shell and be completely safe from most predators. Domesticated: Carbonemys ' swift swim rate, fairly high strength, and lack of real threat makes it an ideal aquatic mount for many coastal survivors who shy away from violence. It can carry its rider to the ocean's resources at a fairly high speed, and are not particularly dangerous to tame.-
