NEW DLC MAPS IDEAS Here share this and public your ideas under this post, i guess more like more chance they see this. From the last post you could add your ideas for ARK 2, they will probably count them for update in the future of ascended or ARK 2. If you like the idea we can propose to wildcard to create an official contest for some new map, like 3 map contest, were the winner of each one by originality and creativity with a design of the map and zones could see added, especially new animals design would be appreciated, even alien like or fantasy creature. Have fun with your ideas. Rules -Do not use ideas that are too similar to historical dlc (they can be used as reference points for ideas, but the map must be original). -You can discuss the animals you would like to see, even fantastic ones since we are not talking about simple additions to pre-existing maps (the animals must be on theme, be creative and have fun). -The dlc must be unique and can have any setting (if someone has already written your idea, associate with him) -Max 2 maps for person. If you want to vote for ideas you like, you are free to do so. It's not an official vote, I leave all that work to wildcard, but I think they will keep the most original, well-made and beautiful idea in mind.

Every time I encounter an application error on my PS5 (very frequently recently by the way) my map progress and Explorer notes are reset back to 0 notes and none of the map explored. This is INCREDIBLY annoying and I've done everything I can to resolve it. I've deleted and reinstalled the application, deleted game save data and it STILL continues to happen literally every single day. Game is becoming almost unplayable for me

We've been playing Ark Ascended for a few days now and the whole map is covered with an insane amount of pebbles, most of them floating, as you can tell by these screenshots. They ruin the landscape and graphics, and drastically reduce my fps. Please reduce the amount of pebbles across the map. This can contribute to better game performance and improve the overall look and graphics. Also look into the floating pebbles, they are everywhere and really unrealistic. Thank you.

[ASA] Disable DLC dinos / creatures transfers between maps ?
xLipFix posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
Hi, I would suggest disabling dino / creature transfers from DLC maps to non-DLC maps and in between them. Reason for suggestion is to make maps unique in fightining style, immersion and make game less "newest map = new meta" The Island is balanced around dinos found on that map, so allowing transfers of wyverns, manas, mewings map seems so small to travel from one side to another. Abberation was so unique cause map is no flyer relient, and imagine adding flyers there map would lost its meaning, immersion and unbalanced. Lack of content or QoL that new dinos offer could be replaced with another existing dinos on another maps, like Procoptodon can have Meawing abilitys ect or dino that already serve no bigger purpose then being unit for meat runs. -
DOLLACARIS: The Creature Finding Creature
Eclipsomations posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
General appearance: A small arthropod posses massive eyes compared to its relatively small body. Dollacaris posses claws used for attacking prey and ones for propulsion. Location: The dollacaris is found in abundance underneath the floating island The Center has become best known for. However they can be found in the open ocean, but much less reliably. Behavior: The dollacaris, while small, is a strict carnivore. However due to it's size and poor swimming ability the only thing on the menu for these unfortunate creatures are already dead creature and trilobites, as neither of those are very good at running away. This gives them a relatively skittish temperament, fleeing from most creatures and survivors. Taming: Due to the aforementioned skittish behavior this creature is a difficult one to get close too, this does not bode well to anyone wanting one of these small allies. And to top it off it is IMPOSSIBLE to sneak up on one of these creatures, no amount of ghille and bug repellent means otherwise. So clever survivors have been able to lure these creatures close with food, aka, a corpse. Once this creature begins eating one can than approach it with its favorite food, pearls. Black pearls work best but a more cost effective method does lie in silica pearls. Tamed: When tamed (luckily for all of us) this creature does eat meat after being tamed. However you don't want this creature for eating your food so what does it do? This creatures massive eyes allow it detect just about anything in nature and even things invisible to the naked eye. This is most apparent when a male and female dollacaris are "linked" to eachother (a setting accesed in their behaviour tab). When activated the male is set to be stationary, able to be latched to various surfaces, and survey an area. This adapted in nature so that the male could gaurd young dollacaris while the female stays with the young. Through the linked female you can access the males view of his nearby environment just about anywhere (his view range is about 20 feet in any direction). The male in this state can see things such as drop contents, creature level, and creature gender. This is not all its useful for, when given 100 black pearls and the dermis of any one creature, this creature can locate any member of the species that the given dermis belonged too in a given area. This can be done up to 3 times as the dollacaris is a small animal with a small brain that can get overloaded with information easily. The detectable creatures seemingly can't be swapped out as the dollacaris grows an affinity towards them and won't let you take away its precious dermis action figures. Misc: the dollacaris can half the weight of anything in its inventory. Despite being aquatic it can survive out of water just find, however, it is remarkably slow on land.
