Tarbosaurus bataar (The carnivore with a platform saddle)
Froten posted a suggestion in Creature Submissions
Dossier Wild Tarbosaurus Bataar is one of the more docile carnivores. Only hunting when hungry, often being to lazy to hunt otherwise. And don't be fooled by their lazy behaviour they pack a wallop! albeit their speed is lacking the bite or tail swipe is one to be cautious of. This giant can often be seen in the coastal areas or the plains of the island scavenging whatever washes up on shore or eating easy picking. Although aggressive toward small dinosaurs, (No larger than dilos) they are docile toward humans unless attacked or if you steal their eggs. When their eggs are stolen their parental instincts kick in and will chase down the thief until they can no longer run or until the egg is safe. Domesticated In order to domesticate one of these creatures you must take an egg hatch it and raise it. Although their wild counter parts are naturally trusting they are fairly intelligent and the usual taming methods prove ineffective, The only way to truly to gain their trust is to imprint on a baby one. Due to the trust built up through out the life of the baby allows a small platform saddle to be equipped. Because of the smaller stature of this creature the platform saddle needs to be lightly built allowing less armour from the saddle. This platform saddle also limits their movement. A regular saddle is much easier for the Tarbosaurus to bare allowing it to be armoured sufficiently for combat and have full mobility. Attacks- Bite - A standard bite dealing normal damage. Tail swipe - A tail swipe knocking small creatures back and stunning medium sized creatures. Large sized creatures are unaffected. Ability Ability 1 - If fertilised Tarbosaurs are put in the inventory and dropped the Tarbosaurus will enter, a distressed state allowing it to take more damage but dish out harder attacks Ability 2 - A bonus with siblings if eggs are hatched within a simair time allowing for a courage boost. Possible balancing Due to trust they remain unaffected by other animals stat boost Platform saddle lowers the overall speed of the Tarbosaurus and has none if not minimal armour from platform saddle You must steal wild eggs and raise them in order to tame Tarbosaurus Appearance Their height would be a similar height to a rex no bigger than a Spinosaurus standing up right Fairly lean although adequately muscled in order to believably carry a platform saddle (Not sure if this is too Overpowered or Underpowered i don't play pvp, sorry for any bad grammar.)- 18 replies

The Diprotodon is a Pleistocene marsupial from Australia. The Diprotodon could be found all over any map, but they prefer swamps and desert oasis habitats. The Diprotodon can be used as an all terrain pack animal. Gaining a hydration bonus to help defend it while traversing the landscapes of the ARKs, and has a very hefty saddle unlocked at around lvl. 40. It also has weight reduction on most raw materials including fibre, thatch, wood, and stone, with considerable weight to boot. It has a bite attack that can harvest berries, thatch and seeds. It also has a stomp that can harvest fibre and wood, and does knock-back to creatures smaller than a Baryonyx. The saddle can carry two people, plus has additional pockets for shoulder pets, and the ability to whistle them from the saddle allowing for easy transport. The Diprotodon also has a an immunity to swamp fever and leech damage, but the ability to auto pick off leeches, while getting leech blood in return, making it an efficient way to obtain the blood. All in all, the Diprotodon is probably the all terrain pack tame that can see through many tough travels across the ARK. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diprotodon

My tribe and I are very into avatar, so I was wondering what looks like an Ikran/Banshee from the movie. There is nothing like it, I just thought of this while raising my reaper so I dont have any dossier or anything but I have ideas. Taming: You have to search for a mountain they are inhabiting and go on foot, then you have to prove your worth by either falling from a height or fight it hand to claw, the creature will target you, this is indicated by a red line connecting both of you. Once you tame it you can ride it without a saddle but you want to make a saddle. Riding with no saddle: This will be like flying a fast pteranodon, like really fast. Nothing special. Riding with saddle: This is where the specialties come in, with the saddle you can dive and swoop. With the saddle you will be more mobile than anything else in the game, you will be able to outrun anything in the game. Breeding and Raising: They will not be able to breed because they are supposed to be special and one at a time tames. Tamed Abilities: Like said in the riding section you will be super agile with a saddle but not that special without the saddle. Another ability it has is a roar that increases speed, this can only be used with a pack of them, with the roar it also makes others of this creature friendly to you and help you attack creatures, when this runs out you better fly fast. Wild Abilities: These creatures will make the sky dangerous, the sky in Ark has always been passive and never really dangerous. These will try to swoop down and pluck you from you mount and with target the player rather than the mount, but only if you are in their territory, once out of their territory they will be neutral and not attack you unless there. Eggs: When you are in their territory they will have nests, the eggs in these are very nutritious and can hatch baby versions of these creatures that can be used as sentries to protect your base, but be careful because as you get closer to the nest more will be aggressive. Sentry Mode: When you take an egg and successfully make it to base you can hatch it, when hatched they will need to grow like any other tame, then when they are fully grown they will act as guards for their assigned area. You can set a location for them to patrol or protect and they will attack any creature in that area.

Diprotodon is the largest known marsupial to have ever lived. It grew as large as 1.8 m (5 ft 11 in) at the shoulders, over 4 m from head to tail, and possibly almost 3,500 kg in weight. It supported itself on elephant-like legs to traverse long distances, and was able to colonise most of Australia. The digits were weak, and most of the weight was probably borne on the wrists and ankles. This would (in ark fashion) be upscaled to become even bigger than many large creatures. Although Diprotodon looks like a megatherium, it would not be as strong of an attacker, but it would have an incredible weight, stamina, harvest amount, and of course tons of health. It would be a great choice for a late game harvester, specialising in berries and wood, where it uses its buck-teeth. As a reference to its ancient herd nature, it would spawn in groups of 3-5, and would attack players who tried to fight their friends. But if they were found alone, Diproton would run away, at a speed fast for its size. They would be found in plains, and sometimes in deserts. Diprotodon - Wikipedia

Anteosaurus: Adaptive ambusher with a crushing bite
Katanaguy44 posted a suggestion in Creature Submissions
Anteosaurus was a large stem mammal, and I believe ark should have more unique creatures. Attacks: Crushing bite(Described in abilities) Headbutt. (knock back.) Tail whip. (Hits things behind you) as for abilities: -Temperature regulation so that the player will always be cool in hot weather and warm in cold weather. This also makes it immune to amargasaurus elemental attacks. -Crushing bite, Anteosaurus main attack will cause bone break, heavily draining stamina and lowering movement speed and lowering resistance to attacks. -Charging bite, holding down the LMB allows Anteosaurus to open its jaws wide and deliver a powerful attack, this work especially well on larger creatures. -Speed up, much like the dire bear and rhino Anteosaurus will gradually get faster and faster. -Tough hide allows it to take less damage from physical attacks, this also scales with creature size. -Can sniff the air to find creatures low on health, like the direwolf. -Scare stance, this passive status scares away creature the same size or smaller, no matter what. -Ambush mode, this will make the Anteosaurus crouch, to initiate you have to target a specific creature for 15 seconds without scaring it away, if the Anteosaurus is detected, the creature will receive a 30 second debuff (called disgruntled) that lowers damage and speed. Button is x. -Good swimmer, but it has bad oxygen. taming method: Anteosaurus is of course hyper aggressive, so it’s taming method is unique, it requires you to fight it until it has earned your respect, after that it is a passive tame. spawns: Desert areas, volcano regions, swamps and bog. general stat distribution: Anteosaurus would be generally tanky with great power, but with poor stamina. downsides: -Poor turning radius. -weaker to lightning and poison attacks. Hope Y’all like this idea! Dossier by ZCI5250- 2 replies
