Let tribemates see the green light of another tribemate dead body
C0nan posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
When you die only you can see the green light of your dead body. Sometimes if you crash when get back to the game you are dead and can’t find that green light of your body. Would be awesome if a tribemate could see it too to find it faster (even a different color so they know it ain’t their dead body incase both players died).- 35 replies

In the cc it says final save-datas from the ARK: Survival Evolved Official Servers will be uploaded for players to re-host on their own servers or play in singleplayer/non-dedi, as well as slightly earlier snapshots. You will still be able to play on single-player, non-dedicated, player-dedicated, and unofficial servers. What will this look like for playstation players? From my legacy days the only option I found for ps is to rent a server to be able to access our save. Which I don't not have a computer to do. I want to be able to have my official save on my single player on my PlayStation. What will be the steps for this to be done? I just want to be prepared for this process when d day hits. thank you

Mods for ARK Console Editions Dear Studio Wildcard, Even if I love ARK,I have to say that its quite boring to play it on console. And because I don't have a PC,that's good enough to play ARK,I have to use a PS4 to play that cool game.I wish there was a way to mod the game on consoles,so that we can also enjoy an extended ARK with all the features of mods like CKFR,S+,Eco's mods,Pimp my home,Primal fear and so on.I'm sure I'm not alone with this wish and I'm sure all console players would love this. I've posted elsewhere with no replies, and it's bending my brain in half. On my server maewing gliding is controlled by pointing the camera in the direction you wish to go. I recently discovered that in single player it's completely different in that instead of using the right stick/camera, I need to push the left stick up/forward in order to steer maewings with the camera as expected. If I don't use the left stick I can rotate and angle the camera any which way and the maewing will just hover in the air. Not parachute, but hover.. at this point if I push the left thumb stick up/forward then it takes off gliding as expected. Is this behavior how it is supposed to be (multiplayer control scheme differing from single player control scheme)? I can't think of why it would be and I can't find any info on it happening to anyone else. Thoughts/insight/answers? Thanks.

Some of the S+ mod features would be really cool to see get implemented into the actual game

Skins equipped to your armor and items stay attached no matter what. Why not have a skin attached to a dino do the same thing? If you have the skin attached to a dino it stays on unless you remove it just like everything else. Even when cryo.

You have the giant teleport pads for long range. Why not make a short distance one that is about the same size as the jump pads? A more of a "Tek" option to choose in place of the elevator. You place two and link them together.

Since I started playing Ark, I’ve always wanted to go through all the story maps in order from The island to Gen2, staying on each map until completion. But I have 2 problems and because of them I’ve spent 90% of my playtime on the island restarting every few months after getting bored because I’m sick of the island. Problem 1 (low level spawns on story maps) The story maps are notorious for low level spawns, I feel like I would spend 100’s of hours on the island as I use basically official rates. Then eventually I’d take my boss ready dinos to scorched and then I would probably get through scorched too quickly, which I don’t want. Problem 2 (non story maps) I don’t want access to things that would make things easier until I’ve reached that point in the game (not having deinos for the dragon on the island for example). But I also don’t want to miss out on all the non story maps that have been added over the years because they look really good. The solution (for me at least) is one rule: “Dino / item transfers are not allowed until you have collected and displayed all Artefacts from the map you wish to transfer to. “ Following this rule will mean once you have defeated the overseer on the island and transfer to scorched, you will have to establish yourself to the point where you can collect the artefacts on scorched. So when you’re ready to fight the boss on scorched is the exact moment you’re then allowed to go and get your island dinos. This is how you would progress through the maps 1. The island - The Centre 2. Scorched Earth - Ragnarok 3. Aberation - Valguero 4. Extinction - Crystal Isles 5. Gen1 - Lost island 6. Gen2 - Fjordur You would start on the island and have access to the centre right away but remember, NO DINO/ITEM TRANSFERS until you’ve collected and displayed all artefacts on the map you’re transferring to. Then once you’ve defeated the overseer you have access to scorched & rag but when you go to those maps you will have to go naked & alone until you’ve got the artefacts there too. Playing like this allows you to get the full experience out of every map, without having to then leave your mutated boss killers behind when you finish a map. You’ll also be able to experience every non story map, in order of release, without having access to things you wouldn’t already have access to on a story map. The only thing I’m not sure on is I don’t think there’s artefacts on Gen1/2 so I’m not sure what to do there. Not sure if this idea will be if any use to anyone I’m just posting because I’ve seen a lot of people talk about wanting to do a story playthrough but not being sure on the best way to do it.

Official Fjordur PlayStation and Xbox Small Tribes Servers
Vaugsy posted a suggestion in Game Suggestions
I recently noticed in the Ark Official Discord that PC Small Tribes gained a couple more Fjordur servers. I wanted to suggest this same change for PlayStation and Xbox. There are tons of people who missed the Fjordur launch and started late but we’re/are unable to catch up to those tribes who started on launch. The servers are very full and all the cool spots are taken leaving those who missed the launch behind. Considering that this is the last map for Ark 1, it is also the VERY LAST time for new tribes to get established on Small Tribes Servers on an even playing field, without getting destroyed by the larger and older tribes from the main cluster. Fjordur is truly an amazing map and giving those people who missed launch a chance to give Small Tribes a go one last time would be truly a great final gift from Wildcard for Ark 1.- 5 replies

Hello I would love to see the fov slider make its way into ark for the xbox series x. I believe it would be a welcome addition to the game for us console players as it would make the game more immersive and fun to play with more to see on the screen.
