Title says it all. Haven’t been able to test it but I’ve seen videos of console players using K&M on official console servers. This seems to defeat the purpose of console only servers.

Give Console players option to boost FPS by lowering settings. Using console commands is annoying and limited. For instance why is the game locked to 4K? Surely being able to play this in 1080p would massively improve performance. Just to note one graphical performance buff. Whilst we wait, (hopefully not forever) for some optimisations it would be great to be able to change some graphical settings. Not every console player plays PVE where 30FPS/- is ok.

The guy above clearly has no idea what he’s talking about. Clear inventory when/where exactly? How is that ever practical in PvP when this feature is needed most. I agree with the author 100% and this is one of 4 issues I have with the console version. if you do have the time i’d appreciate a comment on my post where I cover this and other things regarding console. The more people who find it and reply I believe the higher chance Wildcard see’s it and fixes these issues. here’s the post

Equip the torch to belt = problem solved i like the idea with the shield but sounds a bit OP on PvP as shields block bolas already.

One last thing if anyones wondering why not just buy a keyboard and mouse. Console’s are home entertainment systems usually sitting next to a TV not a Personal Computer system that sits in a desk. Hence why they’re sold with controllers that can be used without a desk. Switching to Keyboard and Mouse is counterintuitive to the concept of a console and expensive to have to buy the equipment to make the change onto a desk. I know this games made for PC and I’m very glad they’ve made it onto consoles but I don’t think I’m asking too much to fix some pretty major QoL things for console players.

1. Suggestion - Add a Hotkey to allow controller players to quickly whistle follow their flyer. Why - Controller Players at disadvantage compared to K&M when getting dismounted off a flyer as very hard to whistle the flyer as you fall using radial menu compared to pressing J on Keyboard. It’s very inconvenient to have to whistle flyer to follow before flying it every time, especially in PvP moment where every second counts. Not to forget it’s very common when using joysticks on the radial menu that your player moves/looks in another direction causing the command to miss. 2. Suggestion - Switch L1 Hotkey for Take All to go into inventory instead of our first. Why - There are many more use cases for taking all of something else’s inventory then removing your own inventory first. There’s been a few times in PvP I’ve been trying to quickly take someone else’s kit and had to transfer my kit in first, which then results in the enemy taking my kit aswell. Note - I find it hard to believe this is the default for this Take All command so if I am just missing this version of the command I apologise. 3. Suggestion - Please give more performance graphical settings for console while we wait for optimisations to the graphics. Why - PvP in forests and caves even with all performance console commands with under 30 FPS in hard to play. Surely we can reduce the resolution, some foliage density (talking about official here) and overall model quality like reducing poly count and texture resolution we’d get a better PvP experience. PC players get these options so is it not at the top of the list to give this to Console players? 30FPS is horrible. 4. Suggestion - Balance Aim Assist to work with different weapons Why - Aim assist seems stronger on weapons like the Bow’s and Bola’s which need no aim assist as you must lead your shot. Whereas Aim assist seems weaker on weapons where you need to land your shots like the fabricated sniper. I challenge you to try and land a couple shots with the fabby even with aim assist on max vs a decent opponent who knows how to be evasive in PvP fights. A pro controller player has no chance VS a noob K&M player with the tabby. if your don’t bola before hand this gun is useless in taking out players with a brain. Also having to turn aim assist on/off depending on which weapon you’re using because of how poorly each weapon’s aim assist is balanced is so annoying at this point I’ve just turned it off. Countless times the aim assist has done more against me then to help me. Like why is it targeting allies? Conclusion I enjoy PvP but I don’t want to have to sweat over a keyboard and mouse to enjoy PvP in this game. I wouldn’t mind if the console only servers weren’t limited official sweaty servers only where most console players use K&M already… no way to avoid K&M players as a controller player. Not to forget the FPS disadvantage we get vs high end PC players. Hope I was clear and if any controller players relate with this I’d love to hear your take or any opposing arguments I’d love to hear aswell. I really think this would improve the controller player experience in this game as it’s a bit sucky as of current.
