In ark survival evolved we went YEARS with having to demolish structures or just leave them as there was no way to pick up UNTIL the famous Exo-Mek !!! I understand exo mek is a gen2 tek gram and it wont be introduced early and in AS:A there was a glitch to pick up structures by replacing the support and picking up to pick up structures supported by that which made moving things around super easy but it was patched and now were back to stage 1 again, no pick up I am introducing the idea of potentially making the Rhynio (Which already has the ability to carry structures!) to be able to itemize the structures its holding so you can essentially pick up that structure and put it back in storage or move it wherever needed, and this would help all the builders in ark aside from people who build in caves, the work around for that is you could make the ability to itemize pickup structures an action the rhynio can do while walking on the ground if anyone has any other ideas or tweaks this is just a rough one but it would make building way nicer until exomeks are reintroduced #BringBackStructurePickUpperToArkBuilding

My name is Guilherme, I'm a computer science student at PUC Minas, a university in Brazil. I'm working on my final thesis, the topic is about multiplayer game servers. I'm researching a lot about the protocols used on game servers, such as the query protocol, RCON, etc. ARK: Survival Ascended was recently released, and as I, besides being a big fan of ARK: Survival Evolved and a researcher in the area, I want to find out how to obtain data from the ASA servers, but it seems that it does not use the Valve Query Protocol, as It doesn't use Steam, but rather Epic's EOS. If possible, I would like information on how to obtain information about the ASA servers, such as whether it is online, how many players are connected, etc. And any other information that can be shared would greatly help in my research, as I am adding information about several different protocols and game servers. I've been searching for way to check server population in game for close to an hour with no luck, I've looked online and in game with no luck. if anyone know a way to do so it would be greatly appreciated, confirming that it's impossible for now is also welcome

Hello this is not a suggestion I just couldn't click on anything else similar to a bug in game. I recently tamed 2 thylacoleos and now the high lvl one turned sideways when out of render and also with auto walk/run when I mount it. Please fix this issue. Thank you.

Hey all, We recently discovered players are able to download survivors, items, dinos (saved or by spawning them) within single player and from other servers, but not limited to just PvP > PvP. This means that players can upload/download from PvP > PvE and also from PvE to PvP. For now we've disabled downloading survivors, items and dinos to our servers but as you can imagine, this isn't ideal. Has anyone been able to successfully disable single player and other server transfers to your dedicated setups for ASA? Looking at the wiki it shows that this isn't working for ASA, only for ASE. However, I'm curious if any of you are able to confirm that this does work with ASA? I tried -NoTransferFromFiltering and -clusterid along with -ClusterDirOverride but neither of them work. This is a major issue and massive exploit! -
Due to the nature of GeForce Now, mods are pretty much unusable in single player as they need to be found and reinstalled every time you launch the game, or else your save gets messed up. Now that Turkey Trial and presumably all future events have become a mod, this means folks playing through GeForce Now can't participate unless they play on a modded server.

Hi all, I downloaded the UE5 Ark Devkit. I have watched several YouTube tutorials, downloaded blender, messed with things myself, and I'm so lost I have no idea what the heck I'm doing. I would love some help because I find this stuff fascinating and would like to learn or take lessons. I'm happy to pay for lessons as well. My main goal was to make a bunch of custom dinos using the in-game dinos and some off-game ones (utilizing the skeleton meshes available in the current devkit). I'd also like to take a stab at creating a really pretty map because that looks fantastic too. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -OGBabzilla (my gamer tag on Xbox, and my other gamer related things through twitch, tiktok, etc.)

As a server owner, I'm in the awkward position of trying to include XBox players to our servers for the first time. It's proving to be exceedingly difficult as there is no list or database of which mods are available for console users, and if I activate XBox on my PC server, any non-compatible mods are automatically deleted. This could cause MASSIVE loss of all sorts of resources and tames for players. Can we PLEASE get a list somewhere (or a search parameter in Curse Forge) for XBOX mods?

[ASA] Disable DLC dinos / creatures transfers between maps ?

Hi, I would suggest disabling dino / creature transfers from DLC maps to non-DLC maps and in between them. Reason for suggestion is to make maps unique in fightining style, immersion and make game less "newest map = new meta" The Island is balanced around dinos found on that map, so allowing transfers of wyverns, manas, mewings map seems so small to travel from one side to another. Abberation was so unique cause map is no flyer relient, and imagine adding flyers there map would lost its meaning, immersion and unbalanced. Lack of content or QoL that new dinos offer could be replaced with another existing dinos on another maps, like Procoptodon can have Meawing abilitys ect or dino that already serve no bigger purpose then being unit for meat runs. -
Is there any information at all out there if Xbox getting its ability to host dedicated servers in the future? We use to be able to do it in ASE but I know originally the plan was for nitrado servers only. I have since seen the roll back for steam allowing them to host private servers but will Xbox get this function again. I don’t expect an eta but if someone from WC can just confirm yes or no that would be greatly appreciated.

I noticed crashing in Singleplayer when acessing the Cookingpot and smithy like litterally every time i access them . It is also very laggy and stutters every time i move something in all inventorys .this needs a hotfix . Was like this since a couple days after the launch of asa .

So, I noticed on my series S, I cannot adjust the screen size. I can do the UI slot scale, but not a screen scale. I can't see my stats on the right hand side. I'd recommend making this an option to adjust

When you have a baby dino that is ready for imprinting you currently cannot see what it wants to eat (if it wants to eat something). When playing on PC with a controller someone said it helps if you move the mouse once, but this is not possible on Xbox. Make "Camera > Invert Y" ONLY invert the camera. Currently it just inverts the whole right sticks Y making it hard to use the "Toggle xy"-wheel and the map. Moving a whole stack of an item automatically into the other inventory (and back) was possible in ASE on console by holding the corresponding button (A on xbox X on ps) but now you have to always drag it all the way to the other inventory, not fun! Server is never showing up in favorites although it is marked as favorite, furthermote "Join last session" in start screen works neither. Quick resume on XBOX also leads to ALL server lists (official/unofficial etc) being empty. Searching/refreshing doesnt help. App currently always needs to be completely closed (before or after xbox was shut down/started again) Vibration is off but controller still vibrates on death. If you open the settings shortly before the respawn prompt/map shows you will be stuck showing the settings screen but the button focus being in the respawn screen.

Hello, I've been trying to connect to the official server for 40 minutes now by constantly refreshing the page and when one player leaves the server I connect but unsuccessfully, as if I'm playing a game before the game, who will press the "Join" button first. I had an idea why the developers should not make it easier for us and make the game more enjoyable by adding some kind of queue like we can see in FiveM when we connecting to the server that is full. Survivors if you agree with this please leave a positive rating so that this advice reaches the Developers. Greeting.

I know on ASE there's something you can put in the Game.ini to make it so all spawns are more even, so you see more higher level spawns. Is there a way to spawn higher level creatures more frequently in ASA?

Hey ya'll! Looking to get some of your thoughts and input on a good middle ground for ARK Survival Ascended. I know it's still fairly new so the volume may vary, however, I'm looking into upgrading my home dedicated server from the ground up with 128GB RAM so that we can have a nice selection of PvP and PvE maps for players to enjoy. I've got 2 servers so far for ASA, PvP and PvE (separate servers) and since it takes literally 10GB to run one map, this would make sense why the 128GB is needed. My goal is to provide ppl with a fun, active and engaging PvP and PvE community with a good balance of rates, while minimizing the potential for any server crashing, rubber-banding and poor server performance. For rates, this is what I have so far and the count of new players has been pretty low or many ppl don't stay for long enough. So for full transparency, I'm looking to see if it's worth upgrading to a new server altogether or not. Let me know what your thoughts are and why, preferably with some more detail would be great. I know it's not possible to please everyone, although, I'm just looking to see if I can find a good middle ground as I see many servers out there with super high rates and it just makes me wonder if ppl loose interest in those later or if ours is too grindy. Vault being destroyed or picked up when trying to drop.

As of right now, only way to drop a vault down lower is to use bombs or weapons to destroy what it is on. The fact you left it to be able to fall gives me the thought it was over looked. Can you please make vaults fall when picking up floor, maybe even add a choice to pick up all on top or just the floor itself. Its crazy having to make c4 just to drop vault then have to repair the vault after.
