  1. Thats asa in a nutshell. They’ve done some great things to improve quality of life. They’ve also done some things that screw PvE players because of some PvP bull**** (cryopods for example!). It’s one step forward and two steps back. No reason to not do 2x every once in a while. People don’t have the amount of time to spend on this game and having 2x every other weekend won’t do a damn thing to hurt the game. They’re just flipping stupid if you ask me and I can already see the player count dwindling.
  2. Okay thank you. Should make trading and buying better being able to trade with Xbox and pc players once the servers open up.
  3. I’ve seen basilos get merc’d after a group of manta swarm it, not being able to hit them or even move. My friend plays on steam and he’s lost three basilos and a sarco this way.
  4. Please correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t the console specific servers PvP and small tribes only?
  5. I’m not 100% certain but it sounds like maybe there was a rollback. Thats been an issue or so I’ve heard.
  6. Think of it like this. Any Dino’s level is based off the total amount of points added from all of the stats. If a Dino is level 150 pretame that means all of their stat points add up to 150. With level maxed out at 450, getting undesired stats like oxygen or food to their lowest possible points enables you to get more points on a desired stat like melee.
  7. Level of the Dino, or more importantly, the melee of the Dino, has no effect on the amount of melee you get per mutation. If you get 11.6 melee per mutation for a level 1 you’re going to get 11.6 melee per mutation for any level. If you have a dino with a higher melee you’re still going to get the same thing because it goes by point total. Imprinting baby Dino’s adds a percentage based boost based off of the stats. Maybe that’s what you’re thinking about.
  8. You’re on the right site. They usually announce it Friday during community crunch if they do have one. Also their X/Twitter @survivetheark will announce it also.
  9. Whatever it is, they can be upfront about it. Obviously the reason why people are upset is because they WANT to play the game, which is a good thing. They’ll buy it no matter what they say. But the thing is that they have exclusivity deals, and I understand it completely being a ps5 owner and having all of these exclusive games. So part of me is skeptical whenever they say that PlayStation is harder to cert for and that might all be true. What also might be true is that is certified and ready but we’ll never know because legally they might not be able to release it before Xbox. I’d completely understand and respect that.
  10. You have zero way of knowing this. They can say whatever they want, they’ve lied to everyone before. The fact is that developing this game on unreal engine 5 on the Xbox series S is sketchy due to being much lower graphics-wise than either pPS5 or Xbox Series X. I’d be willing to bet money that the game is ready for both PlayStation 5 and series X, and the real culprit holding everyone back is the Series S. And they aren’t going to release asa for PS5 before Xbox even if it was verified and ready. This makes much more sense.
