I doubt it would happen again, only if they would chose to exclude breeding from that or maybe after release of ARK2. Farming ressources on non Genesis Server or Abberation for Metal, is just a hastle. Even with Stryder it takes way too long to farm a good amount of ressources. Lets take Metal on Island as an example, you probably farm less in 60 minutes than someone on aberration in 10 Minutes. And tbh except farming dedis full of ressources and breeding some color combos - there isn't anything else to do anymore. All major Dino are at top stats, even some Gen2 Creatures. People have thousand or hundred thousand tek stored, because its faster to farm for tek structures than farming for stone. People chose to rather build and maintain a Gacha Tower for element than raising dino to do bosses - Because in the 4 days a rex takes to raise, you get more element through that gacha tower than doing 10 bosses after those rexes are ready. Almost all PvP Modes have higher rates 24/7 so why not atleast giving their majority of players higher rates on weekends? Performence isn't a reason, since Gen1 and Gen2 server are like sh*t even without events. So what reason is left? Stubborness - Yes. I remember when WC tried to give us an Evo Event with better crops, higher recipes and such things. They got such a hard poopstorm they changed it on day 1. They've been sulking since then and we've got less and less Evo Events, especially Evo Events with breeding. (Evo events on first year of corona not included) But as ced always says "You're getting heard!" - Yeah no...not regarding evo events or other things. Lets take RMT as an example, there's an "auction" site where you literally can shop dino and such líke things on amazon. WC should have enough influence and money to take down said site or atleast make them stop providing a plattform for ARK stuff.

Sad that there isn't any effort in those crunches anymore. "Hey Siri show me some ARK Survival Evolved Pictures" - "Nice i'll pick 10 of those". but i liked those patch notes earlier, that mentioned a fix of Fishing Mission on Genesis 2. 🙃

Don't get me wrong ced, you are doing a good job at times. But you guys at wildcard need to realize that for official and especially PvE (which is your main playerbase, yh!) there is almost nothing left to do. With Gen1 and Gen2 you totally broke the economy of the game, even more than with gachas (they never should've been able to leave extinction tbh) so almost everyone got masses of structures - except for the ppl playing on other maps maybe (but theres transfer so..). So the only things thats left would be breeding, ja? But almost every major or rather usefull dino is done - top stats. Which means the only thing left is to do fun things like building nice bases or combining stats on fav. colors and these things suck without event, even more since most of the server aint running smooth. Thats why you need to understand that these request are really important. You know what would help for example? Permanently reduce food consumption, mating interval and balance time for raising again. Your strongest creatures - Shadowmane - does grow way faster than a giga and needs waaaay less food too. And some personal wish...pls implement raw Element transfer atleast on PvE Servers and yes, it is possible we know that from mods and a specific time after extinction release - you guys just need to make it work your way. That would get player back to "old" maps, without the need of building gacha towers. Probably gonna get flamed and you wont read it anyway but well - i cant sleep and i had to do something.

Same "Event" every single year... Farming decor is meaningless since it'll get deleted anyway. No new colors and same skins as last year. One would think they should be able to invest some time now, since only dlc they are gonna release from now are maps from modders.
