Just host your own game

So it will just update like the PC edition, sorry if I sound repetitive I just want to be sure cause in the store it said " please purchase only if you are comfortable with the current state of the game. I didnt know if it meant it was unfinished or if you were just stuck with the version of the game you bought it in.

Question If I buy the xbox edition of ark now would I not be able to get any future update afterwards.
