Looks like they said Snow Biome will be an overlay with New Trees and Rocks possible but not major structural changes so even in the new extension for the snow area shouldn't be complete demolishing of bases but possible broken parts. They also posted that they would add an ingame marker so you can see if you are in an area that would be directly effected.

will the snow area that is current be left as is and just new zone for the extension or will the old snow biome also be overhauled? Basically do i have to move if I have a base on the west part of the snow biome (Current snow area)
