  1. Appearance: They are colossal, one of the largest creatures ever seen in the entire ark. While wild, they have the same aspect of a corrupted creature, but when tamed, they have the appearance of a “technological” jellyfish, with a dome composed of a tek shield. Wild: Essexella are extremely rare, and colossal in size, with an area in their central dome equivalent to an ocean shelf (if too much exaggerated, it is possible to shrink). They hover at the edge of the Ark's skies, and like the other Ark creatures, they have been corrupted by the Corrupted Nodes. They have a hold on the corrupted flying creatures that often inhabit their core. Make no mistake, though they are giants and only soar above Extinction's skies, they are fully aware of their surroundings, and can unleash the corrupted flying creatures that inhabit them when a player gets too close. Domesticated: When a tribe finally manages to subdue an Essexella, no easy task, they have access to its central dome area, extremely flat and perfect for building bases for tribes that want to hide. Its dome closes in case of danger signs, and works as a tek shield that covers the top of its head. As it is bioluminescent, this impressive animal keeps the environment always lit. In addition to the tek shield, Essexella also have an internal reactor, which works exactly like a tek generator, making the use of this structure unnecessary. Taming: Taming an Essexella is an arduous task, which only the most powerful of survivors would be able to accomplish. Being born from a fusion between an element core and corrupted nodes, this creature is extremely aggressive, but, being extremely slow, it uses its control over the corrupted creatures that inhabit its dome to attack. Domestication is actually a kind of purification of the animal, removing all that is corrupt in the creature. It has 4 pedestals at the top of its dome, 3 of them located at the ends, where the player must attach the trophy of each of the 3 titans of the Ark extinction, and one at the center, where the King Titan trophy must be deposited. Basically, when a player approaches, Essexella automatically goes into attack mode, changing the color of its light to red, and emitting a loud noise, while lowering the shields of its dome, releasing the corrupted flying creatures that dwell there. Players must then defeat all the creatures that have appeared (and yes, there are many!). When the last creature dies, players then have a period of 2 minutes to place the first titan trophy on the indicated pedestal. This pedestal is then absorbed with the trophy by Mastigias, which loses part of its corrupted side, and the taming begins. After that, she emits a new sound signal, and players have 30 seconds to leave her dome, before it closes, as she releases a poison inside the closed dome, and is lethal to all players. Again, a new horde of corrupted flying animals is spawned, and the process starts all over again. Each horde is larger than the previous one, and the level and amount of corrupted flying animals that come out of it changes according to Essexella's level. When the 3 titans' trophies are placed, Essexella will give access to its central pedestal, where players must place the King Titan's head, and finally, tame it. It then appears as an “achievement” for the tribe, which cannot tame another while it is still alive (i.e. limit of 1 Essexella per tribe). Utilities: FLOATING BASE – Essexella has a large area in its dome, 100% flat, where any structure can be positioned. Since it has no weight limit, players don't have to worry about the amount of items it carries. It is not possible to ride an Essexella, that is, it floats extremely slowly on its own, always flying over the entire map, giving players a new landscape every day. By nature, it has a resonance with the other Essexella on the map, and one does not invade the other's space limit, thus avoiding collision between bases and possible conflicts between tribes. She also cannot be frozen in a cryopod, due to her size and structure. An important detail, the Mastigias float along the top of the map, making it impossible to build higher than 1 giant gate. SELF-SUFFICIENT – Essexella have a very strong bond with the element, and because of this, they have abilities that other tek structures provide. By placing element in Essexella's inventory, she activates her skills, which are: BIOLUMINESCENCE – Essexella produce their own light, keeping their dome always illuminated. It is possible to use the behavior – light menu, to change the intensity and color of the desired light. TEK GENERATOR - With a core forged by elements, the Mastigias can produce energy by feeding on the element, the entire area above its dome is automatically powered by tek energy, having the same element consumption as a tek generator connected to its maximum power. TEK SHIELD – The dome of the Mastigias is composed of the same material as the tek shield, and provides the same defense. The element consumption is double the consumption of a normal tek shield. It has the same characteristics as a normal tek shield, taking time to spawn and protect the area. TROUGH TEK – To feed all the creatures that are loose on the Mastigias, just put the food in your inventory, and everyone will be automatically fed. Your inventory can accumulate the same amount of food as 5 tek troughs. TEK TRANSMITER – When the Mastigias are tamed, the central pedestal that is still visible can be used as a tek transmitter, eliminating the need for this structure. TEK TELEPORTER – The central pedestal of the Mastigias functions as a tek teleporter, for players only (cannot teleport creatures that are not in cryopods). To do so, just access the central pedestal console and select the teleport option. All players currently accessing the central pedestal teleport together. ELEMENT GRINDER – Has the ability to transform dust from element to element and vice versa, such as the points around the map. DEFENSES AGAINST ATTACKS - The Essexella also have a threat sensor, when active, it doubles the element consumption equivalent to the tek generator, but it is something that can be very useful. Once active, the Mastigias can survey a large area around them, and when they notice an enemy player, they emit a warning sound, change their light color to red, and activate the tek shield if it is not active yet. It also indicates the direction the threat is coming from, marking attackers, making it easier to find them. NOTE: Essexella does not take damage in its tentacle area, it is only vulnerable in the inner part of its dome. To be able to take one down, players need to have access to the dome and attack with weapons or creatures that have non-physical attacks (example: Wyverns' special attacks). Another detail, because they are always on the move (no matter how slow they are), the Essexella are always visible on the maps of the tribe's elements, thus facilitating their location. Essexella do not gain experience or levels. The level she receives when tamed will be the level she will remain. She can be fed Mutagen, but needs an exorbitant amount, but it might be worth it, as the only stat she will receive will be HP, and that's a pretty sizable boost. It is not possible to reject an Essexella to give it to another tribe. If she is rejected, she will automatically become wild and players will have 30 seconds to exit her dome or kill her, before the dome closes and she fires poison.
  2. INFORMATION: The Labrador duck (Camptorhynchus labradorius) is a species of duck that became extinct in 1875 on the east coast of North America. It was the first bird species to become extinct on this continent since European colonization. It was hunted in large numbers despite its tasteless meat, which quickly rotted, and its nests pillaged for eggs. The disappearance is due to hunting, but also probably to the decline of the populations of molluscs on which it fed and the degradation of its habitat. APPEARANCE: The Labrador duck had black and white plumage with a distinctive black collar around its neck. Females were characterized by their brown plumage, in addition to being slightly smaller than males. WILD: These ducks like to swim in flocks in the Ark's vast lakes. They tend to spawn in cold regions, where they spend some time, and then migrate to warmer regions to breed. Their nests are very well hidden, and only by keeping their distance and feeding the female will players be able to access their eggs. Their hunting is also a common practice among players, as hitting them with a firearm can bring unique advantages, due to the rapid rotting of their meat. DOMESTICATED: The Labrador duck is considered an adornment for player bases. They are highly appreciated due to their beauty, in addition to being very useful. Consuming different types of kibbles, they are able to produce feathers with unique effects that can be used by players to recover health, cure diseases and even temporary advantages. In addition to the duck, I would also like to add the duck feeder, which could be used both in water and on land. This feeder serves as a kind of exclusive electronic collar for Labrador ducks, keeping them close at all times to prevent any of them from getting lost. UTILITIES: With no combat abilities, and only a weight reduction for raw materials when shouldered, the Labrador duck's ability is focused on its passive production. If the Labrador duck is in free roam mode within range of a duck feeder, it will from time to time feed itself, and depending on the food it consumes, it will produce feathers in its inventory with powerful effects to players can use. Below is a list of feathers that each food produces, and their effects: 1 X Basic Kibble = 2 White Feathers – Each white feather has the same effect as a Medical Brew (+40 hp) plus the effect of an Enduro Stew (+35% Melee Damage +1.2 Healt per second) 1 X Simple Kibble = 2 Green Feathers – Each Green Feather has the same effect as a Focal Chili (+25% movement speed, +100% crafting speed), plus the effect of a Lazarus Chowder (-85% Oxygen consumption underwater +1.2% Stamina per second (Allow constant Swimming) 1 X Regular Kibble = 2 Blue Feathers - Each Blue Feather has the same effect as a Calien Soup (+50 Hyperthermic Insulation, -25 Water Consumption), plus the effect of a Cold Curry (+50 Hypothermic Insulation, -25 Food Consumption) . 1 X Superior Kibble = 2 Purple Feathers – Each purple feather has the same effect as a Broth of Enlightenment (+50% exp gain), plus the effect of a Cactus Broth (Reduce Water Consumption and hide partly from wild animals) 1 X Exceptional Kibble = 2 Golden Feathers – Each golden feather has the same effect as Battle Tartare (+65% attack damage, +15% damage resistance, +50% movement speed, +50% food and water consumption, increased stamina regeneration, -90 hp (0.45 per second), plus the effect of a Shadow Steak Saute (+50 Hyperthermic Insulation, +50 Hypothermic Insulation, -80% Weapon Recoil). 1 X Extraordinary Kibble = 2 Cyan Feathers – Each cyan feather has the same effect as the Mindwipe Tonic (Resets the player's stats and engrams) In addition to the reduced cost of manufacturing these items compared to what is manufactured inside an industrial stove, the advantage of Labrador duck feathers is that they do not spoil, and can be stored inside dedicated boxes. These feathers are quite heavy, and because they carry so little weight, the Labrador duck can stand still, and its production will not continue until the player clears its inventory. This might encourage players to breed these animals, focusing on weight mutation. The Labrador duck also has a flock effect, where the more Labrador ducks around the feeder, the greater the feather production of each one of them. Its fertilized eggs can also be used in any kibble, just like Yutiranus eggs. One ability that the wild Labrador duck has is escape mode, when a player approaches. The moment the Labrador duck takes flight to escape the player and is hit by a firearm, its body will drop between 50 and 500 Rotten Meat, in addition to a small chance to drop one of its miraculous feathers. I thought of something similar to duck hunting practiced in the real world. The more ducks the player kills this way in a row, the greater the amount of rotten meat each will drop (maximum 500 per duck), and the greater the chance of getting feathers (maximum 33% per duck). slaughtered Labrador). When the first duck is killed this way, a time counter appears over the player's head, indicating how much time the player has to kill the next Labrador duck before losing the kill bonus. DOMESTICATION: The Labrador duck is a very skittish creature, as soon as they sense the presence of a player, they tend to go into escape mode, which alerts all the other ducks around them, and they fly away as quickly as possible. Therefore, the only way to get a Labrador duck is through its eggs. The problem is that this species is known to hide its nests extremely well, to the point where they are not visible to players. They only appear when a player feeds a wild female without scaring her so she can feel comfortable returning to the nest. The nest can literally be anywhere, from under water to on top of a tree, so you have to follow the whole process with extreme caution, so as not to frighten the female, and be able to follow her to the nest. Labrador ducks are big fans of kibbles, which are used to feed the females. To do this, the player must place the duck feeder close to where he sees the female he wants to feed, and add the kibble to his inventory. From that moment on, the player must move away and keep an eye on the feeder. When the female eats the kibble (the amount of kibble she eats varies according to her level) and is satisfied, she will flap her wings, and then begin her return to her nest. The movement starts slowly, but at some point, it starts to move quickly. The player must follow her from a distance where she cannot see him, until she reaches the nest. As the location is extremely random, she can walk, swim or fly, so it's not an easy task to follow her. And since it's not a tame, the player can't track the female through the taming menu, so you have to keep an eye on her at all times! When the female arrives at the nest, she will stop and look around to make sure she is not being followed. She will again flap her wings, and then the nest will become visible, she will climb onto the eggs, and the player will then be able to approach. When the female senses the presence of the player, she will retreat, leaving the eggs on display, and the player can finally collect them. Each nest can have 0 to 4 eggs available. NOTE: Both puppies and adult Labrador ducks consume only kibbles, any kibble, the player must pay attention to this before starting its creation.
  3. INFORMATION: They are very reserved birds, considered extinct in the real world just over 50 years ago. The only universally accepted record of this species is a 1956 video produced by the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology. APPEARANCE: Males have a red forelock, usually used to attract the attention of females. They are the largest woodpeckers known to mankind, reaching up to 60 cm in height, in addition to a powerful and sharp beak. They are very beautiful birds. WILD: Imperial woodpeckers are common in Redwood, where they spend the day pecking its huge trees in search of food. Its pecks can be heard from afar, echoing throughout the biome. They are quite skittish, if a player approaches them, they immediately run away. They don't usually get into fights, unless it's to protect their nests embedded inside the trees. The predator that dares to approach the nest can be prepared for an extremely fast and ferocious attack from several imperial woodpeckers, as they fight to the last for the protection of their young. Most impressive of all is the symbiotic relationship that this animal has developed with the thylacoleo. Both species coexist in perfect harmony, with the woodpecker feeding on the meat residues found in the thylacoleo's teeth. It is common to see imperial woodpeckers hanging from the mouths of wild thylacoleo. In return for service rendered, thylacoleo provide protection to imperial woodpecker nests, making it very difficult for players to collect their eggs. DOMESTICATED: Imperial Woodpeckers make excellent tames. They usually stay on the shoulders of their handlers. They are very popular because they have the same ability as otters, to carry artifacts, in addition to passively collecting resources, which greatly facilitates survival in the ark. Furthermore, due to their relationship with the thylacoleo, carrying one on your shoulder guarantees protection against the Redwood's most feared predator, as thylacoleos do not attack players who are accompanied by an imperial woodpecker. SKILLS: Imperial Woodpeckers have some passive skills, which can be extremely useful for players. Are they: CARRYING ARTIFACTS – Like otters, Imperial Woodpeckers are able to carry artifacts in their inventories. SYMBIOSE WITH THYLACOLEO – Due to its symbiosis relationship with thylacoleo, players who have an imperial woodpecker on their shoulder are not at risk of being attacked by one. In addition, the imperial woodpecker can be useful in taming these animals, since its cry can attract wild thylacoleo closer, thus facilitating their identification and taming. Wild Thylacoleo will also grant protection to an Imperial Woodpecker that is in foraging mode, preventing both wild creatures and other players from attacking it. Also, if the player has an Imperial Woodpecker on his shoulder and rides a thylacoleo, he will have a 33% increase in attack and defense, in addition to a reduction of stamina consumption by 33%. NOTE: If a player who has an emperor woodpecker on his shoulder is attacked, wild thylacoleo will attack the player's attackers. The protection and immunity caused by the Emperor Woodpecker's effect on thylacoleo is depleted when a player attacks a thylacoleo. PASSIVE RESOURCE GATHERING – The Imperial Woodpecker has a passive resource gathering mode. If you have this mode active, every day, at 5 am, the woodpecker will move to the Redwood, where it will spend the day collecting resources from its trees. The resources that the Imperial Woodpecker can gather from Redwood trees are: - sap - Crystallized Sap (of all colors) - honey - rare flower - rare mushroom In addition to these resources, there is the possibility that the Imperial Woodpecker will also find rare items, which are normally found in drops. They can be ready-made items, or even blueprints. Item rarity and chances of finding them vary depending on the woodpecker's attack power. The imperial woodpecker has a weight reduction for these resources just as the beavers have for wood. The imperial woodpecker spends the entire day in the Redwood collecting these resources, and starts making its way back to base at 8 pm. When it arrives at base, it lands and emits its call to let players know it has returned. It will continue to sing until players open their inventory to collect what the woodpecker has brought. If he brings a rare item, his chant changes, indicating the happiness of getting something special. DOMESTICATION: There are 2 ways to tame an Imperial Woodpecker. The first is to steal their eggs. The problem is identifying and reaching the nests, as they are at the top of Redwood trees. If the player manages to find a nest, another problem is the difficulty of reaching the eggs, since the nests are made in holes inside the Redwood trees. The player needs to hang or fly in front of the nest to collect. Also, as soon as players collect eggs, wild imperial woodpeckers will start screaming and attacking the player. The screams will attract all nearby thylacoleo, which will help defend the nest. If the player manages to go through all these difficulties, then it is enough to hatch the eggs and then start creating this beautiful animal. The other way is the domestication of adult imperial woodpeckers. For this, the player will need a thylacoleo, in addition to vegie cakes, and a complete camouflage outfit (Ghillie Gear). When spotting a wild Imperial Woodpecker, the player must stop a thylacoleo in passive mode, and hide. The Imperial Woodpecker will come to the Thylacoleo's mouth to feed on the waste in its mouth. The player must then approach in a crouched position, and feed the imperial woodpecker the vegie cake. Each time it is fed, the imperial woodpecker takes flight, and only returns to the thylacoleo's mouth when it is hungry again. The player must then hide again, and repeat the process, until the imperial woodpecker is tamed.
  4. Wild: Thanatotheristes are aggressive, attacking anything that moves near them. Don't try to get close unless you're looking for certain death! They like to travel in groups of up to 5 individuals, which makes them even more lethal. It is common to see Thanatotheristes holding smaller prey in its mouth, while the others of the pack attack the animal that is trapped in the jaws of its companion, taking the victim to a quick and painful death. Domesticated: Despite being relatively smaller than its cousin, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Thanatotheristes They are much appreciated by the tribes due to their great combat skills. Because they are smaller, they are faster than a Tyrannosaurus, and their unique ability to resonate with other carnivores makes them a worthy combatant on the battlefield. Skills: Thanatotheristes have 2 standard attacks: bite (basic) and the ability to hold the victim in their jaws. This attack has reduced damage, but allows Thanatotheristes to carry the victim for a long time, while still having stamina, much like the Megalosaurus ability. In addition, it has a unique ability: resonance with other carnivores. How does it work? Basically, you can add to your Thanatotheristes saddle the drops of other carnivores, such as Tyrannosaurus arm, Allosaurus brain, Spinosaurus sail and so on, and each of these drops give unique abilities to your Thanatotheristes for a range. of 500 seconds (like effects already known in the game). Spinosaurus Sail - When equipped, gives Thanatotheristes the ability to move in water like Spinosaurus, and will have no oxygen consumption and the player cannot be dismounted from the saddle by aquatic creatures. It also gives Thanatotheristes a 33% boost to its natural defense. Allosaurus Brain - When equipped, gives Thanatotheristes the bleeding effect on its bite. Additionally, it reduces Thanatotheristes' stamina consumption by 50%. Giganotosaurus Heart - When equipped, gives Thanatotheristes a 100% HP boost. Tyrannosaurus Arm - When equipped, gives Thanatotheristes a 100% Melee boost. Yutyrannus Lungs – When equipped, gives Thanatotheristes the ability of Yutyrannus' roar. In addition, it will have protection against temperature changes. Each Thanatotheristes can have 1 drop equipped to their saddle. This drop is consumed when the effect starts, and lasts for 500 seconds. After that, the player must wait 30 seconds to be able to equip a drop again. Thanatotheristes have a pack effect, just like Allosaurs, but with a difference: they have a pack synchronization, where each of them gives the effect of their saddle to the other members of the pack. That is, it is possible to have a team of Thanatotheristes with all the active effects, each one of the group passing the effect to another. If a male Thanatotheristes is equipped with a drop, and mates, it increases the chance that the pup will receive a stat mutation, depending on the drop it is equipped with. This increase is 33% List of mutations below: Spinosaurus Sail – Food and Oxygen Allosaurus Brain - Weight Giganotosaurus Heart - HP Tyrannosaurus Arm - Melee Yutyrannus Lungs – Stamina Additionally, the drop that is equipped to Thanatotheristes' saddle gives him the ability to track the closest matching creature with the highest level. That is, if he is equipped with a Giganotosaurus Heart, he can locate the highest level wild Giganotosaurus closest to the player on the map, and a tracker will appear on the map for the player. Domestication: Taming a Thanatotheristes is not an easy task. First, because he was always in a pack. It is necessary to isolate the Thanatotheristes you want to tame from other members in order for it to be tamed. But there's a catch. If a pack member is killed, the taming quality of the Thanatotheristes you want to tame is lowered. Each pack member killed equals a 25% drop in Thanatotheristes taming. If the 4 members of the band are killed, and only the one you want to tame remains, it will not be tamed, and can only be tamed when the other members of the band have respawn. To tame Thanatotheristes, the player must render the remaining members of the pack unconscious and alive. The Thanatotheristes that the player wishes to tame cannot be knocked unconscious, as taming is passive. After ensuring that the other pack members are immobilized, the taming bar will appear over the head of the remaining Thanatotheristes, already at 33% tamed, and will indicate the taming's effectiveness. Now, the player needs to approach Thanatotheristes. He will stand still and watch the player, but will attack if the player approaches. To get closer, it is necessary to roar at Thanatotheristes with one of the predators he has resonance. The player must have in his possession one of the 5 predators: Giganotosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Spinosaurus, Allosaurus or Yutyrannus. When the player roars with one of these creatures, a timer will appear over Thanatotheristes' head, which consists of an intimidation time. During this time, the player can approach and feed Thanatotheristes one of its favorite foods: Spinosaurus Sail, Allosaurus Brain, Giganotosaurus Heart, Tyrannosaurus Arm or Yutyrannus Lungs.
  5. APPEARANCE: One of the smallest pterosaurs ever discovered, Nyctosaurus has a wingspan of around 1 meter. Its main feature is the huge horn on its head, which it uses to masterfully stabilize its flights. WILD: Nyctosaurus live in the quieter parts of the aberration. They adapted well to life by fishing in the rivers that cross the environment. They are quite skittish, flee from confrontations, and make their nests in the highest trees of the aberration, avoiding contact with wildlife and players. DOMESTICATED: Nyctosaurus are much used by the bravest explorers of the ark. In addition to offering protection from the dangers of the aberration through the light that its huge horn emits, its ability to serve as a receiving antenna with various functions makes it much easier to explore the map and tame creatures. SKILLS: Nyctosaurus emit light, like other aberration light creatures, thus providing protection to players who have one on their shoulder. But its main ability is linked to its horn, which is used not only for communication, but also for sending and receiving items. While the fjordhawk has the ability to collect the player's inventory when he dies and bring it to him, the Nyctosaurus has the ability to send items from one Nyctosaurus to another, thus facilitating locomotion and minimizing the losses of players when they find some rare item. HOW IT WORKS: For communication to work, the tribe must have at least 2 Nyctosaurus in possession. With 2 Nyctosaurus facing each other, players must sync with each other, basically the same process as syncing the stryder with the dedicated box. Once synchronized, both Nyctosaurus create a communication "channel", which can be named by players to facilitate sending and receiving through it. Once this is done, the 2 Nyctosaurus are able to send and receive items with each other. To do this, players just need to place the items they want to send to the other Nyctosaurus in the inventory, and in the creature's options, select send and then select which channel. Once that's done, Nyctosaurus will start a counter, time I can't say, but I think something like 10 seconds or so, and then it will send the items from its inventory through the selected channel. When sending, the items will appear in the receiving Nyctosaurus' inventory, and it will squawk and flap its wings to let you know it has received the items. This facilitates exploration of the map, allowing players who are in dangerous zones to send what they have collected to the base, and receive items that can help them in exploration, in addition to taming. Nowadays it is very frustrating when you go out to gather resources and find a wonderful wild creature that you would like to tame, but you have no items with you. Then you go back to the base, get supplies, and go back to tame the creature, which has already been killed by another being in the ark or even tamed by another tribe in the ark. This is a way to avoid losing the tame you want for your tribe. The uses are many, and can also be used in the middle of a base Raid, helping to send ammunition and resources to war, in addition to being able to quickly send what you managed to steal from the enemy to protect your tribe. NOTE: It is only possible to send bps and already crafted or cooked items via Nyctosaurus's radio, resources cannot be sent this way. In addition to sending and receiving items, it can also be used by the tribe to know where its members are, as they appear on the map of all tribe members. DOMESTICATION: To tame a Nyctosaurus, the player will need a radio, as well as fish baskets with fish inside positioned in the last position of the player's hotbar. When the player has collected enough fish for taming, he must enter the water without any type of armor, as they scare the Nyctosaurus. Once this is done, the player must set the frequency on the radio that will be used to attract the desired Nyctosaurus. The frequency will always be the level of the Nyctosaurus you want to attract (example: if the Nyctosaurus level is 150, the frequency will be 0150, if it is level 20, it will be 0020, and so on). Detail, the Nyctosaurus must be within the range of the player's vision, you cannot simply put the frequency of level 150 and wait for one to appear. Synchronizing the Nyctosaurus level with the radio, the player must then dive and become submerged, while making sounds through the radio. The quieter the sounds, the more likely they are to attract the Nyctosaurus's attention. We advise you to whisper or hum something quiet. Loud and aggressive sounds will make only Nyctosaurus move away from the player, so be careful. If the player emits a sound that attracts the Nyctosaurus, a question mark will appear over its head, and it will approach, and fly over the water where the player is immersed. The player must continue emitting the sounds until the Nyctosaurus dives into the water and consumes the fish that is inside the fish basket positioned on the player's hotbar. Once the Nyctosaurus has fed, the taming process will begin. Just repeat the process until the Nyctosaurus is tamed. NOTE: If the player climbs out of the water while the Nyctosaurus is nearby, it will startle and run away. You have to stay submerged while he's around. When he feeds and moves away, the player can then go outside to catch his breath and stamina. It is advisable to have a tamed diplocaulus close by, to facilitate the process and avoid having to get out of the water to avoid loss of taming. An important detail: if Nyctosaurus sees the player out of the water during the taming process, the taming will reset, and not lose its effectiveness. The taming effectiveness is based on the quality of the fish, just like Shadowmane taming.
  6. APPEARANCE: They were small birds, considered the first birds in history, and they lived at the same time as dinosaurs! The males had a small forelock that they moved to attract the attention of the females. WILD: Mirarces are usually found sitting on the horns of the aberration's trikes. The two species get along very well, to the point of trikes defending the Mirarces in case of attack. The coexistence between the species is such that the mirarces only make their nests in the heads of the trikes! Its favorite food is the fish found in the long rivers in the aberration, but the recipes made by players cannot resist either. They are songbirds, and their song has different effects on creatures and players around them. One of the customs of this animal is to vomit up the remains of its prey, much like what owls do today. But your vomit has several different functions. DOMESTICATED: Mirarces are beautiful birds, used as decorations for bases. In addition to their beauty, they can sing all day if the players so choose, and their singing has many positive effects for everyone. Furthermore, their vomit has unique properties, and the main ability is linked to one of the biggest shortcomings of the aberration map: they vomit element dust. SKILLS: Mirarces are not combat birds, nor birds that are useful if they are positioned on the player's shoulder. The great differential of this bird is when it is perched on the base. In addition to the bird, I would like to add a perch to the game, which could serve not only for her, but for the other birds in the ark as well. It could be something very simple, just for the bird to be positioned where the players think it is best, so that its song has a greater effect, in addition to facilitating the collection of its vomit. The mirarce has 4 types of songs, which can be selected by the player in the creature skills menu. The songs consume a large amount of food, and have a range determined by the bird's perch. I thought that the perch could have a marking like the electronic collars, to define the area in which the bird can act, or else, the bird could have a delimitation similar to that of the maewing. The effects of the songs last an average of 15 minutes, unless the bird is perched and singing frequently. The bird's food consumption is higher if it is in this mode. Below is the list of songs: PRODUCTION SONG: This song allows creatures that are producing something (eg achatinas and gachas) and players that want to craft something to have a 100% boost in production skill, such as the focal Chili. In case you play, this effect only lasts as long as he is within the bird's range. GROWTH SONG: This song gives a boost to babies that are in the growth phase. It decreases each cub's food consumption by 33%, in addition to reducing the amount of hp lost in case it is hungry. SONG OF HEALING: Has the same healing effect as an owl or the aberration's healing plant. Creatures and players within range can be passively healed. SONG OF LIGHT: When using this song, the area where the bird is perched will be illuminated, thus removing creatures from the darkness of the aberration. NOTES: Mirarces only sing when perched. Although they can be carried on the shoulder, they do not serve as light protection for exploration in aberration, they only manage to leave the base illuminated, away from the risks of darkness. If the mirarce is set to sing only once, the effects last for 15 minutes. If set to constantly sing, the effects are permanent, but food consumption increases. It consumes 1 unit of meat per second, 1440 units of meat per day (real time). Mirarces are affected by songing each other, i.e. if there are 2 mirarces with song production active next to each other, they will spew more blue pellets with this boost. In addition to its singing, the mirarce has a special vomit. If he is in continuous singing mode, every 5 minutes he spits out a blue owl pellet. It can be used to power gachas, or it can be refined into an element. I believe that here would need a Wild Card calculation of how much dust it spits in this interval, but it would be the same fabrication that a dust gacha has. Also, if a dust gacha consumes this blue pellet, your dust crystal production increases by 125% (this would be the same as the mirarce pellet, gacha crystal plus 25%). This boost only applies to dust production. The other gacha productions gain the same boost if they eat the owl pellet. It is important to note that the Mirarces produce the blue pellet only within the aberration map. Outside of it, they only produce common owl pellets. We are trying to alleviate the lack of elements on the map, since even the boss does not drop elements. DOMESTICATION: Taming a mirarce is impossible. They don't take orders, and are very happy in nature. Just by stealing their eggs, the player will be able to add a mirarce to their collection. The problem is that mirarces make their nests between the horns of aberration trikes, and they will defend the nests with their lives. Another important detail, the trikes when attack a player, they end up breaking the eggs and the nest, and all will be lost. Likewise, if the player kills or tranqs the trike, the nest will be destroyed. Also, if the mirarces see that the player has approached, they will scream, and all the surrounding trikes will attack the player. The only way to get a mirarce egg is to trick the mirarce into believing you are a trike too. To do this, the player will need a Trike Bone Helmet Skin equipped on the head, having consumed a repellent, in addition to the mirarce's favorite food placed in its last hotbar. Wild mirarce have the same feeding system as a moschops. When approaching, the player will see the food requested by the bird. Once the bird has ingested the requested food, a “confidence” bar will appear over it. This bar needs to be filled completely for the mirarce to trust the player. Each time the mirarce is fed, it will place some straw in the player's helmet, as if producing a nest. When the confidence bar is full, the nest will be ready on the player's head, and the mirarce will take the egg from the nest on the trike's head and place it on the player's head. At that moment, the player will be able to access the nest inside his inventory, and collect the egg. The problem is that when you do this, the mirarces will realize that they have been tricked, they will attack the player and summon all the trikes around them to do the same. NOTE: This behavior is only used by females, if the player feeds a male mirarce, he will immediately realize that you are not a trike, and will warn the trikes around him to start an attack.
  7. Maybe it would be nice if he got some hability of luminescence if it eats angler fish gel, so deep ocean wouldn't be so dark with one of those with you.
  8. APPEARANCE: It resembles Therizinosaurus, due to its large and frightening claws. I think it could be a little smaller but faster. They are herbivores and bipeds, and are generally peaceful unless attacked. WILD: Erlikosaurs are always found walking in pairs. Despite being peaceful, they are quite aggressive when someone approaches their nest without their permission. Males are known for their cry at exactly 5 am, announcing the arrival of a new day in the ark. DOMESTICATED: Despite being good collectors of straw and fiber, and not lacking in combat, the Erlikosaurus' great differential is in its eggs. In a system similar to gacha crystals, Erlikosaurs, when kept in pairs, are happy, and together they build a nest. The female then sits in the nest and produces eggs, while the male feeds her through a “kiss”, basically how birds feed their young. Each time this occurs, the female lays an egg in the nest. This egg, different from the standard one, which can be used for various purposes, in addition to being useful in recipes. SKILLS: The Erlikosaurs have some passive skills, which can help players in the quest for survival in the Ark, in addition to being useful in collecting items. They have a body that has complete control over the temperature, that is, while mounted on an Erlikosaurus, the survivor will not suffer from sudden changes. If 2 Erlikosaurs are inside a closed (medium sized) environment, the environment also doesn't suffer from the ark's temperature changes. When he sings at 5 am, the Erlikosaurus male causes an experience bonus for everyone around him (I don't know if it would be similar to the bonus when finding a note, but I thought of something along those lines). I also thought that singing could have some effect on chicks, maybe reduce the time of imprints, something along those lines, but both effects only occur when the male sings alone, if the player uses the “roar” command, this will have no effect . The bonus is also not cumulative, that is, if 2 or more male Erlikosaurs sing together in the same place, this bonus is only applied 1 time. Erlikosaurs' saddles allow them to be used as a chem bench (basically the same effect as the Equus saddle). In addition to the passive skills, the great advantage of Erlikosaurs is in their eggs. In addition to fertilized eggs, which can be obtained through mating, if a player keeps a couple of Erlikosaurs together, both will build a nest, similar to a wyvern, but smaller, and, by placing food in the male's inventory, he will feed the female, who, in turn, will lay an egg in the nest. There are 5 types of possible eggs: EXPLOSIVE EGG: Has the same damage and stickiness as a C4; Once launched, it explodes in 8 seconds. TRANQUILING EGG: When thrown at a target, increases torpor. I don't have the exact calculation, but I think it would be interesting to base it on the female's damage, or else a standard value. FREEZING EGG: When thrown, the egg freezes everything in the blast radius for 8 seconds. FIRE EGG: When it hits, it deals good damage, in addition to the burn effect for 8 seconds; STUNNING EGG: When it hits the target, it causes the same effect as a Microraptor for 8 seconds. If a player is mounted on a creature, they are dismounted unless the creature's effect does not allow it. NOTES: A male Erlikosaurus feeds only 1 female, that is, for each Erlikosaurus nest that the player wants to have, he needs to have a couple for the process to happen. Nests made by tamed Erlikosaurs can be picked up by the player and placed wherever they want. This facilitates the organization of the base. DOMESTICATION: Herbivores and peaceful, domestication could only be passive. An Erlikosaurus is never tamed alone, taming always happens in a couple. Therefore, if one of the two is killed in the process, the second will only be tamable after a respawn from its companion. When approaching the male, the player will see what food he wants (such as moschops), and then he must feed him what he asks for. Once this is done, the male will approach the female and “kiss” her, feeding her and causing her taming to also start. From then on, the player must be aware of the food that the female wants as well. The male will ask for food, which the player must provide, and in the sequence will consume the item that the female wants, in order to feed her and make her taming bar rise. It may happen that 2 want the same food, but 2 units of the same food will always be consumed for the process to occur. Despite the process being quite exhaustive and varied, the advantage is that the female remains seated in the nest during taming, and the male walks around her, thus facilitating the whole process. The player just has to be prepared for the varieties of food that may be requested during taming.
  9. APPEARANCE: Much like the modern Koala, the giant Koala is about 1.20 M tall, and can weigh up to about 100 pounds! Its coat is thick and its main feature is the toes apart, adapted to facilitate the climbing of trees. WILD: Wild koalas tend to hang from the redwood trees on their highest branches. Its orange coat serves as excellent natural camouflage. The best way to identify them is at night, when their large yellow eyes glow in the dark, and they become more active, chasing food, eating leaves and fruit from the top of the trees. When attacked, they begin to jump from branch to branch, avoiding as much as possible to descend to the ground. DOMESTICATED: Giant Koalas are quite quiet, and like to hang on pillars built by their tamers, where they tend to spend most of their day, only letting go when they are called or when night comes and their round of tasks begins. As they have nocturnal habits, they sleep all day, and only start the tasks to which they have been instructed after night comes. DOMESTICATION: To tame a Giant Koala, to begin with, the player must attract his attention by having him descend from the tree where he stands. To do this, the player needs to position a storage box next to the tree where the Giant Koalas are. Despite being quite stationary during the day, the Giant Koalas are always watching everything around them, and notice what the players are doing. When the Giant Koalas descends from the tree to inspect the box, the player must throw some item (works only with manufactured items) from their inventory in the direction of the Giant Koalas. He will then gather that item and place it in the box that the player has placed. When he completes this action, he will be watching the player, who must approach and give a "treat" to the Giant Koalas, who are very fans of the Sweet Vegie Cacke, just put him in the last position of his hotbar and press triangle on the Giant Koalas to feed him. The Giant Koala will then celebrate and its tamming bar will appear. Just repeat the process of throwing an item in the direction of the Giant Koalas and feed it cakes until it is fully tamed. UTILITIES: INVENTORY ORGANIZER: Once tamed, Giant Koalas can be trained to store items in safes and lockers. To do this, simply select the "workout > Start training" option in the Giant Koala's action bar, and it will enter training mode. The player must then throw a manufactured item or a blueprint to the Giant Koala, and when he gathers the item, the player must then go to the safe or closet that he wants the Giant Koala to store such an item and open the inventory of the closet or safe. The Giant Koala will then access the inventory and will store the item entrusted to it, and will save the action. He can distinguish the type of item, so he can be taught to store more than one type of item (separated by armor, weapons, blueprints, saddles, buildings, and manufacturing structures). Thus, after the Giant Koala is trained, the player can simply throw his inventory into the Giant Koala's inventory, and he will make the distribution according to the type of item inside the base's vaults and lockers. When a safe or closet is full, the Giant Koala will wave and yell at the player to empty the inventory from the locker or vault or teach him a new storage location. Giant Koalas can only store objects already manufactured, their abilities do not work with raw materials. GENERATOR SUPPLY: Giant koalas can be trained to fuel generators with gasoline or element. To do this, simply put the equivalent fuel in your inventory, and the Giant Koalas will every night make a round at the base to check how the fuel levels of the generators are, and refuel if necessary. If the fuel in your inventory runs out it will wave and yell at the player to receive a new load of fuel to carry out its round. MATTRES SUPPLIER: Another function that the Giant Koala can be trained to do is the supply of the base troughs. If at the time of training the player throws some kind of food to the Giant Koala, (be it raw or cooked meat, or berries for example) The Giant Koala will request 2 pieces of information for the training to be completed: "From where" and "To where". In the "From Where" command, the player must instruct the Giant Koala from where he should get the food. It can be from the inventory of an animal, a refrigerator or an industrial grill. In the second command, "Where", the player must show in which trough the giant Koala should place the food. If the player wants the giant koala to supply more than one trough, he must do the process for each trough he wants to be filled. As in other cases, the giant Koala will inform the player if the food at the source has run out. Note: each Giant Koala has a limit of 20 trainings that can be given to it. When a training is completed, the player can name that training, to be more easily identified. They can be displayed in the "Training> menu to display trainings". If the player wants, it is possible to rename, delete, or demonstrate the selected training. When selecting to demonstrate, the Giant Koala will do the action that that training represents, to facilitate the identification to the player
