A great game that always delivers surprises and enjoyment and I've not even begun to explore all it has to offer in single player and with other folks. I come into the game and find pumpkin patches around. Glorious. The official servers could be less toxic but there isn't a game anywhere where grievers and malcontents don't find a way to make games less enjoyable. It's a universal problem that hopefully will eventually be figured out. -
I saw a thread about spawning into the game and being locked inside someone's base and that happened to me when I first was playing the game. Discouraged me from playing for months. Had to respond to that thread so I had to sign up! I think a lot of times when someone buys the game and tries it then stops playing it's because of things like that. Going onto official servers and wandering with your first campfire and absolutely not finding anywhere to drop a campfire, let alone being able to place a foundation because of the pillars everywhere and then nothing anywhere near to justify someone having put pillars there except for the sole purpose of blocking anyone else from even starting in the game. Frustrations. Finally a friend from other games had a server and invited me to come play there and I found an absolutely amazing game. That and discovering the single player feature I enjoy playing ARK and discovering every new feature and update as well as the Scorched Earth DLC. It's a great time to be alive.
