  1. I've got a 4080, DLSS 3 causes low level dx errors. It's Ark being terrible, 100%. Cope harder.
  2. Bugs like low level dx errors when using DLSS are still unresolved since launch (and yes, they're all reported in the bugs section, they're just clearly being ignored). Given the state of the game, it just feels like a really laughable time to be releasing new paid content.
  3. Your reputation has never been exactly "up there", Studio Wildcard, but come on... ASA is in such a crappy state, for both performance and stability, that it's a total joke how you're going to unironically release more paid content. Constant "low level graphics errors" for many of us in the community, it seems DLSS 3 is extremely unstable with Ark so anyone trying to get it to run well gets punished with crashes. Your reputation is in the toilet as a company that absolutely doesn't care about even pushing out a semi-coherent product. To add a new pack of DLC to sell alongside old returning content is just laughable. Please, for the love of God, fix the game instead.
  4. Ugpraded to an RTX 4080 a while back, and Ark has been laden with LowLevel crash errors ever since using DLSS 3 + FrameGen. Why is this such a massive issue for it? Without that tech it runs so much worse. Is there actually any fix coming for this issue? If I even get alt-tabbed once by Windows it basically guarantees the crash will happen shortly after.
  5. Wow. a 3 month setback on top of already being a setback for its December launch. That sucks. Can't say I have any faith it will be out at that time if it's already on two delays.
  6. I understand that Scorched Earth was delayed from launch to focus on launching the base game, but are we still getting it this month? I've heard absolutely nothing about it since then.
  7. Is there any way to deal with the new horrendous movement snapping on Ark dedicated servers atm? I'm getting it even when hosting dedicated locally with 6-7ms latency. Idk if they messed with tickrate or what but movement now feels legitimately terrible.
  8. Anyone else immediately feel today's movement optimizations? I'm running dedicated with friends on my own rig so latency isn't a problem but it's clear movement is snapping so heavily it's insane, you can feel it really badly if you sprint forward and then go to move left or right at the same time. This is....a really bad solution.
  9. Well in the Current ARK, it DOESN'T require that.
  10. Incorrect. The industrial cooker creates the dyes without anything like that. It just uses tintoberries and water to make its red dyes and thus wastes them.
  11. Industrial Cookers currently have a huge issue that with auto-craft enabled, tintoberries get used for many types of dye even if there are narcotics in the industrial cooker so you can make Medical brew. If you turn off autocraft, the cooker only lets you queue 10 brews at once no matter how much of the ingredients are present. Please let us turn off dye auto-craft in some way so we can let the machine just craft our medical brews.
  12. is it just me or has ascended basically made Doedicurus the rarest animal on The Island? All of its spawns are now just steep cliffs, and it's basically impossible to find one, even a low-level one.
  13. In singleplayer we can't set certain settings too high or the game secretly resets them back down when you click save. For instance, you cannot raise difficulty past 1.0. This means we cannot get it past that as saving settings caps it back to 1 , but official servers are on 5.0 difficulty. Please give us some kind of warning about it being unintended or something instead of actually forcibly capping them.
  14. Yeah given the these are clientside markers and the server hasn't really got anything to do with them, the limit of 10 feels constrictive. I think a limit of 50 would at least alleviate some problems but bigger maps might benefit even from a flat 100 cap.
  15. I imagine this is tucked away in some really old devlog but is there any rough estimates on when each DLC will get added to ASA? e.g. I know Scorched Earth was originally intended to be in at launch, so I wonder how far away that will be. I'm mostly looking forward to Aberration again as it's my favourite map, but wondering if there's a rough estimate on when these things will appear (Obviously it won't be set in stone).
