  1. I already saw the changes of the wiki during this week, its cool and also the Dreadnoughtus looks sick, I will stick to my pc until next week 👀
  2. Hi everyone, Extinction is the only paid DLC that doesn't have a shoulder pet that came out of that expansion, so here's a concept for one, I hope you enjoy it! Dossier Creature Image source: https://a-dinosaur-a-day.com/post/711975861645115392 Species: Jakapil Kaniukura Time: Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial Wild Of all the creatures that I have come across, Jakapil Kaniukura seems very peculiar to me due to its behavior, despite its small size it is very aggressive if you get too close to it, it also seems to have adopted a peculiar combat strategy: it wraps around its own body and He propels himself towards the target with such force that his opponent is stunned. Domesticated Jakapil Kaniukura exhibits beneficial behavior to survivors who manage to gain the trust of this temperamental friend, many using his ability to roll up as a portable cannonball for self-defense, and others finding it useful for breaking and collecting rocks. Jakapil seems to have a special interest in heavy siege weapons like the cannon, perhaps the more inventive and shameless survivors will think of using them as ammunition for their weapons. Taming To tame the Jakapil you need to place a training dummy near it, the Jakapil will start jumping towards it and deal damage over time, during that process the Jakapil will get hungry from time to time and will be given berries or regular kibble, If the training dummy breaks and it has not yet been tamed, it will be necessary to place another one. Information Statistics Drops Abilities Passives -While on the player's shoulder the player takes 20% less damage and is immune to stun. -The stone weighs 75% less than its normal weight within the Jakapil's inventory. - When the Jakapil has 15% of its total health it wraps itself in its own body and takes 60% less damage (Similar to Doedicurus). -It can be thrown from the player's shoulder like a shot-put sport (Example image below). Image source: https://arc-anglerfish-arc2-prod-abccolor.s3.amazonaws.com/public/H5TP4OMAEFAD7PUDXYGPY2WSGE.jpg -Properties of the Jakapil being thrown: When the Jakapil is thrown by the player it wraps around its own body and takes 60% less damage until it hits a target with 70 base damage. Hitting an enemy player or a creature with a drag weight of 300 or less will stun the target for 10 seconds. The Jakapil can break trees and rocks in its path when launched, collecting their resources and staying on course. The Jakapil can be fired from catapults and cannons, multiplying its base damage of 70 by 10 and 50 respectively. The Jakapil produces a sticky substance from its mouth, allowing it to attach itself to the player or siege weapon and return to the player after hitting a target. Attacks Collectibles
  3. I speak for many when I say that AnglerGel accumulates in storage and I almost never use it, so today I bring a couple of ideas to improve it and give it more uses. Change the name to "Bioluminescent Gel", this with the purpose that more bioluminescent creatures can give it when they die like Electrophorus, Cnidaria, Glowbug, Shadowmane and light pets, also the Achatina could give it too to have an early game option to get gel. Works as a replacement for sparkpowder in crafting recipes, being an alternative to wood or sparkpowder in combustion, the fact that it can work as a replacement for sparkpowder makes me an interesting and logical idea. Can start burning structures even underwater, as it is the compound from which the Anglerfish's lantern is made, I consider this mechanic something logical and would be useful for the mobile bases built on top of Plesios and Mosas. Give unique burning animations to each structure when AnglerGel is being used as fuel (Similar to standing torch), regarding the previous point, avoiding a campfire burning underwater from looking weird, giving a unique animation to each structure that accepts AnglerGel as fuel would be the best option to avoid this type of inconsistency, plus it has always caught my attention as the standing torch is the only structure that has an animation with the AnglerGel and the rest of the structures do not. With these changes I feel like the AnglerGel would be much more useful and more people would use it instead of sitting in a box collecting dust.
  4. Dossier Creature’s image source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagotaria Species: Imagotaria downsi Time: Miocene Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Territorial Wild Of all the animals that inhabit the sea Imagotaria downsi seems to have a unique defense system among all of them, this species of leopard seal spends much of the day swimming in the cold ocean in search of fish and penguins, its size itself intimidates enough that matchups between Imagotaria and Megalodon are rare. Despite the fact that they do not seem to have much agility on land, I do not recommend tempting luck, I have had the misfortune of seeing recently arrived survivors have been devoured for underestimating their speed on land. Domesticated Taming an Imagotaria can be a laborious task, it is not usually easy to feed a creature that spends its time living in social groups to convince it to abandon them and come with you, however the survivors who managed to tame them have taken advantage of their abilities, their body Protected by fat, it allows Imagotaria to regulate their body temperature, which also protects the rider from high temperatures and improves the conservation of the food that the creature is carrying. Imagotaria seems to have a specialty in defending itself with shots of salt water expelled from its nose, which is useful after injuring an opponent in combat, nobody wants to have a wound covered in salt and Imagotaria seems to know it very well, salt in wounds they prevent them from closing and consequently the adversary cannot heal from the wounds of the battle. Taming To tame an Imagotaria, it is enough to sneak up from behind and offer it Organic Polymer or its favorite food Beer, you just have to be careful, because when detected the whole herd will become aggressive. Information Reproduction Statistics Drops Abilities Passives -Passively generates oil over time inside creature’s inventory (Similar to Basilosaurus). -Provides 225 hypothermic and hyperthermic protection to the rider (Similar to Ferox). -Preserves consumables longer before they spoil inside creature’s inventory, increases spoil time by 16x (As reference, normal creatures increase spoil time by x4 and Preserving Bin by x10). -His body fat secreted outside his skin allows him to be immune to grabs by creatures from unallied tribes. -It has a thick layer of fat around its body that brings with it some advantages: On the rider’s HUD there will be visual indicators of how much damage the layer of fat needs to lose effect (Equivalent to 50% of his total health). While the layer of fat has an effect on the creature, it will take 25% less damage and be immune to ALMOST ANY negative effects (Bleeding, freezing, burning, etc. To everything except for Cryo Sickness). After the layer of fat has worn off it will take 50% extra damage from any type of projectile. Attacks HUD Stuff HUD indicator of the amount of fat remaining before the fat layer loses effect. Anti healing effect HUD element. Anti healing effect HUD element in-game. Collectibles Quick Concept Explanation Seal swims on sea. Sea has salt. Seals get their noses full of salt. Salt absorb the liquids, including blood. Basic but good enough~ Main information source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagotaria
  5. Wow, simple but effective creature concept, remebering the fact that on ASA will spawn wild babies this creature is more viable that if it comes to ASE, I can't wait!
  6. Hi everyone, today I want to show you my concept for a Mesopithecus TLC, I took the concept of the monkey itselft to increase its abilities, hope you like it. -Decreased the maturation time from 1d 06h:51m to 21h:02m (Matches with Otter). -Now the ability to open doors works with all doors in the game. -In the case of thatch doors, they can be opened even from the outside. -Now you can open all kinds of windows and hatches both from outside and inside. -Added the ability to unlock inventories with a PIN code: -You can whistle him to attack the structure you want to unlock or open the structure's radial menu and select “Unlock with Mesopithecus”. -The Mesopithecus will come out of your shoulder and will not listen to whistle commands until the process is finished or canceled by a player. -A countdown of the remaining time to unlock the structure will be displayed above the Mesopithecus. -The unlock time varies between 15 and 60 seconds depending on the material the structure is made of. -If there are nearby players that belong to that structure, they will get a notice at the top of the screen that a Mesopithecus is unlocking their structure. -The tribe will be notified of the unlocked structure through the tribe log. -When wearing a hat, the Mesopithecus can quickly swap hats between itself and the player holding it on its shoulder (Holding R, similar to Tek Helmet). -Now the Mesopithecus collects small amounts of fiber from the bushes. -Added a space in his inventory "Hands" where you can equip tools: -Torch: When the player claps the Mesopithecus will take out or keep the torch. -GPS / Compass: When the player claps the Mesopithecus will take out or put away the navigation instrument for it to be seen by the player. -Magnifying glass: When the player claps the Mesopithecus will take out or put away the magnifying glass and the information of what the player has nearby will be shown in his HUD. -Having a Mesopithecus on the shoulder will passively grant 10% increased experience gain and 20% increased crafting skill efficiency. -The feces thrown when hitting a target will now highlight their location to nearby allies on their HUD while the target has the feces debuff.
  7. Hi everyone, today I bring to you the concept of TLC for the Hesperornis, on this concept I took advantage of the fact that it's a shoulder pet and I improved it, in addition to making its laying of golden eggs more consistent and controllable, hope you like it. -Increased base damage on ground from 1 to 10. -Decreased drag weight from 120 to 35 (Matches Kairuku). -Hats can now be equipped on him. -Reduced the amount of fish needed to be tamed (Matches Otter). -Now after hunting a fish and eating the body the Hesperornis gets moderate amounts of prime fish. -The egg laying interval decreased from 5 fish per clutch to only one fish per clutch. -They can be accumulated so that all the eggs are laid until the Hesperornis reaches the shore (it will only lay 1, but the rest will be in its inventory). -The probability of laying a golden egg is now linked to the size of the fish, being a minimum probability of 5% with fish of size 0.1 and scales up to a maximum of 80% if the fish is larger than 2.5. -The probability is increased by x1.25 if there is a male stimulating the female. -Now when the males hunt and eat fish they collect small amounts of organic polymer and oil based on the size of the fish consumed. -Added advantages when holding the Hesperornis on the shoulder: -Reduces the player's oxygen consumption by 50% (Stackable with similar effects). -Increases the player's swimming speed by 25%. -Increases melee damage dealt while underwater by 30% (For both player and mount). -Greatly increases the efficiency of collecting prime fish (For both player and mount). -Cooking normal eggs in the pot also provide 4 organic polymer. -Added weight reduction for all types of fish within the inventory by 50%. -There is now a 10% chance that an egg laid passively by the Hesperornis will be golden. -Improved the experience increase provided by the golden egg to players and large animals from 10% to 25%. -Golden Eggs can now be stored up to 100 together and take 2 hours to decompose. -Increased the weight of the golden egg from 3 to 12.
  8. Hi everyone, today I want to publish my concept of a TLC for the Chalicotherium, for this TLC I increased the concept of "Living Catapult" on the literal way, as fan of the Chalicotherium this TLC is special for me, See ya tomorrow with the next concept. -Stimberries are now only 6 times less effective than beer when taming. -You can now attack while moving with the main attack. -Removed the tertiary attack, instead it can throw mud like its wild version. - You can now hold the secondary or tertiary button to be able to aim the direction of the projectile before throwing it. -Doubled the distance of the projectiles the Chalicotherium can throw. -You can now launch catapult projectiles (Boulders and Jar of Pitch) with the secondary attack when having them in your inventory. -The Boulders have the effect of increasing unconsciousness to creatures that fall asleep by that method (the damage and torpor inflicted scale with the damage). -Jar of Pitch are not affected by the damage stat when dealing burn damage. -Now you can throw all kinds of grenades (Except Tek) and oil jars with the tertiary attack when you have them in your inventory. -Grenade damage is not modified by Chalicotherium damage. -Now having the mount equipped the Chalicotherium obtains certain advantages: -Can craft Boulders and Jar of Pitch in inventory (This second one only if the player has the engram unlocked). -The weight of stone, metal, clay and oil is reduced by 50% within the inventory. -With the alternative button (X) a radial menu will be displayed to select which projectiles to use for the secondary attack and the tertiary attack (Also configurable from the radial menu). -Added improvements for turret mode: -It can be configured if you want it to only use its secondary attack, tertiary attack or both while in turret mode. -The ammunition selected to use while mounting for both attacks will be the one that will be used in turret mode, when this is finished it will begin to use its default ammunition in each respective case. -The Chalicotherium can make use of the ammo boxes it has in range. -Enabled the collection of bodies, having a high efficiency in the collection of meat and especially hide (Similar to Thylacoleo). -Berries and thatch now have a 50% weight reduction in inventory.
