Respectfully, I hope everyone who says they won't play ASA sticks to their word. Completely convinced anti-ASA people lose, if they like video games. They will only see that everyone else who plays it will experience amazing video game greatness. Everything yall have shown/described in ASA seems great Wildcard. Very impressive.

Hi, Studio Wildcard! I'd love a map, 4x to 10x the size of The Island to play on the new game Ark 2: Survival Ascended. I'll think the vastness is what we need for this new chapter of this series! I know you think it sounds awesome. But it would be a ton of work, it would be epic though. Thank you.

Imagine if they release a UE5 map 10x the size of "The Island". I'd love that as DLC.

Wildcard please! (HI again, by the way.) This is my Wishlist for Ark 2/SurvivalAscended: 1. Will you increase the map size by atleast 4x? If you could combine several maps (The Island, Scorched Earth, etc.) that would be fine to start with that, please. 2. It would be awesome if all large creatures get a grab move like Megalosarus, and large creatures wrestle eachother and get wrestling stats? T. Rex would dominate if you did this. Wrestling would make the creatures vulnerable to being attacked by other creatures. Group grab attacks could be devastating, too. I believe you're already working on something similar to this. Thanks. 3. I'd love if you add Simbakubwa, powerful Phytosaurs, Cave Lions, Utahrapters, Thylacines, Tarbosauruses and more sea turtles. All in a future DLC, please. That's my wishlist for now, and if I don't get any of them I'm still happy. This is one of the best videogames ever. Thanks. Edit: I misspelled "Thylacines" before.

I hate how we act like video game developers owe us their lives for $100. Almost everyone paid like a maximum of $100/$120 per person 1 time for Survival Evolved. And now they think they've bought your hard work. If they paid EA $100, they'd be rewarded by having to pay $100s more with micro transactions. And Epic Games... I love Fortnite, they are free to play, but players are pretty much forced to pay $100s to get the full value from playing the game. A lot of Ark 1 players can't let go, their data has major value to them. Hopefully, I'll recreate everything that I cherish within this game; with great fun, easily and enjoy every moment with "Ark 2: Survival Ascended". My creatures will have the same names. I wish everyone would be happy with the saved data they are giving us, and cherish that saved data. Then go into this new genius remimagining of Ark, "Ark 2: Survival Ascended". Think of it as "Ark 2: Survival Ascended", then read about the new AI, the ray tracing, the interactive foliage, the updated art, the new physics, updated water and all the other new stuff. Please. It's going to be great, everyone.

Survival Ascended is Ark 2, Ark 2 is Ark 3. I believe it will help people understand the substantial changes implemented for Survival Ascended if it becomes "Ark 2: Survival Ascended". Please Wildcard. The normal Ark 2 can be called "Ark 3: Survival Destined" or "Survival Giga/Tyrannus". Or something cool like that. Personally I know that Survival Ascended should be Ark 2. Thank you. Edit: I've got it! "Ark 3: Survival Forever"! That's a great name.

Hi, you must have never played a Call of duty or Sports video game before. Call of duty is very similar each time, $60+ each time, fun each time and worth the $60 each time. Sports games have some innovation, and you can see that a lot of effort goes into developing them each year. But the gameplay is usually the same or a few minor changes (rarely major changes to gameplay). Those Sports games sell for $60 each year, and sell well. I may be mislead, but reading your post convinces me that Ark must be worth less than any other game, for you. You must be PC only. For the average console player $60 is like the price of any game, even games with 4 hours of content. I'm sorry if anyone hates Studio Wildcard and Ark so much that they believe it's products are worth less, or that it's effort is worth less, than the efforts of developers behind popular shooters and popular sports games. I love those games, but I'm not joking that I'd trade them all for just 1 copy of Ark Survival Ascended right now.

After looking at the changes agian, I see that Survival Ascended is actually Ark 2. Especially when the new DLC drops, will make it fully Ark 2 to me. And Ark 2 is really Ark 3 to me now, in my perception. Since wild baby dinos will be in Survival Ascended, I hope all egg laying species have nests. And mammals have dens. If not at launch then future DLC should do this (please Wildcard). I also believe that Animals should get new nursing/feeding animations too, at some point in the future (please). New animations from their parents and from the player (please). Not to seem like a broken record, but it would be cool if every egg layer had nest locations. I loved the deinonychus nests, the game is full of great species'.

I have to say, much of what you say sounds very reasonable. But their fixes/updated helped a lot... Or they corrupted my save files and we had to start again, we cheated back to where we were in like an hour both times. But the fixes/updates were still great. The effort was the most valuable thing to me. Even with a few glitches, the current version runs great. To be more specific on some things I think people seem misinformed when they don't communicate that Wildcard offered them tons of DLC (SE, ABR, EXT, G1 and G2) like $100 worth + the remade/drastically redesigned and improved original game! All for $60! All of this Instead of their original offer, which (+DLC) would have costed way more than $60. Plus, they said they'd preserve the defunct server's saves. We can all still play with the saves of the Official servers if we continued playing the old design of the game. Former console players like me used to get ripped off paying $60 for like a 4 hour game. I know what you mean though. $60 is still significant. But it's better to pay $60 for an "A movie" original Jurassic Park than paying tje same ammount for a "B movie" version (like Jurassic World, Planet, Universe, etcetera, whatever horrible new Jurassic Park movie they make). My point is, can anyone find a game like Survival Evolved which does the same thing and has the same value? Minecraft is great, but you can't do the same things. The experiences are different. There is no other Survival Evolved. I think we might all become very happy with the $60 price for Survival Ascended over time. Thank you. P.S. You seem great.

I was paid by all of the great experiences I've had playing (and learning how to play) this game. I was paid by how great this game was. The Island was my favorite map, trying to survive day after day, in the start we built our base in the territory of a immensely aggressive (and then "unbeatable") Spinosaurus. In much time we element went on to explore the oceans (from the safety of a boat at first), much of our time was spent with coastal diving; we were terrified of the Megalodons. In time we ventured to the arctic, first in short durations at the end of long expeditions. In time we tamed the arctic, and defeated each Titan. Many memorable experiences. My brother was a baby when we started playing, the expressions of wonder on his face and his excitement in many terrifying circumstances revitalized me at a difficult point in my life. He is almost grown now, we still love this game. I believe we'll always remember the experiences we've had playing this game. As an experienced gamer I protected him and taught him much about video games using Survival Evolved. At times I felt like I leart just as much as I was teaching. Only Minecraft compares strongly to this game for me. Every other game is less personal, in my perception (not including MMO's, I loved City of Heroes/Villains). My point is that for me this company is irreplaceable. They take risks, they did things no one else succeed at in gaming. They did more than appropriate, they put a lot of effort into those free maps. I don't know why people aren't seeing that even now Wildcard is trying to look out for them. You can all keep your saves and play the old game, or play another game or do whatever. Personally, I'm ready to move forward and see more about Survival Ascended. My 2 cents.

Hi, I want micro transactions for cosmetics in ark. They deserve it. They can use the micro transactions for the appearance of weapons/saddles/other items, etc. Over the years I've spend over $1000 on Fortnite. Studio Wildcard was too humble and caring in the past to charge for the dinosaurs and gameplay improvements/updates and map fixes they have poured into Survival Evolved. I've only spent like less than $100 on Survival Evolved over the years. I wish they could use a time machine and go back and get an extra $400 from me and everyone else. This game hasn't been perfect over the years, but they kept improving it. Also, it is a lot easier to run now with the optimizations available. The future looks bright for them. I joined because some negative/misinformed comments were very hurtful for me (as a player who loves this company) to read. Ascended is going to be great! They have changed the video game industry's survival genre forever. They have shown great dedication and love in fixing/updating the game and supporting the community. As engineers and artists, they have learned so much along the way. I hope they can do the same thing again (they mentioned "new DLC"), but we know that this time everything will be dramatically improved.

Dear Studio Wildcard, I love you, After taking a scroll through these posts I've seen many examples of rude ungrateful and completely wrong comments. As you are aware many of these people commenting illogically/negatively are your enemies (even if they can't comprehend it), they can't comprehend the amount of love, care, hard work and support you have freely given them through the years and even now. If us players had to pay you for all of the FREE content you've given us over the years, we'd be down atleast $500 a player! I've been playing for 5 years, I feel like I owe you money. Even with all of the glitches and a couple corrupted saves/remade worlds, Ark: Survival Evolved is one of the best video games ever made. I play self-dedicated with my younger brother. Your game has helped bring me great joy over the years, I thank God for you. Your company is filled with and run by Incredibly dedicated and brilliant individuals. I was excited for the offer of $50 for Survival Ascended and Ark 2. But this new deal is even better! you added all of the DLC almost for free. With your kindness, whatever deal you offer will be more than we deserve value-wise. I can confadently say that Studio Wildcard is one of my favorite companies period! All that you're doing sounds amazing, you've made tremendous improvements. The new AI + interactive foliage + new physics + updated art + ray tracing+ UE5 will be wild! I can hardly wait for gameplay footage! DLSS hardware AI anti-aliasing will be amazing, a lot of people seem too confused to recognize that UE5's temporal anti-aliasing is better than (or equal to) FSR's version of the same technology. I believe that the game will look and feel amazing to play(like the original! I hope that one day the Ark game franchise is bigger and more profitable than Fortnite! A lot of players are anticipating your studio's next decisions with excitement, gratitude and dedication. We plan to be with you until even after you have dethroned games like Minecraft,l and Fortnite. You had humble beginnings, no one knew you. But through your years of hard work beyond what we could have imagined years ago, you have earned my/our dedication. From my heart I thank you all. P.S. In my humble opinion, the ungrateful commenters don't deserve/haven't earned anything from you. They won't be with you when you stand in the #1 spot of all games. It would be great if you banned the disrespectful people and deleted their evil comments. You've already invested enough painstaking energy trying to explain things to them in a way that they will understand. But they refuse to listen. Cut them off, for your own mental well-being, please. If they hate how awesome Survival Ascended sounds then they won't have to buy it. Problem solved. I will buy it, many more will buy it than the numbers who leave. You're about to have a ton of new players. For your own happiness, cut off these hateful people who think you owe them something. They speak like you are their slaves. You owe them nothing.
