TheMoschopsGuy started following Identification of a creature from an unknown mod
-
A few hours ago I was playing ASA and I came across a Raccoon. As far as I know, no mod I use contains a Raccoon. Of these mods I thought it might be from Additional Creatures Endemics, RRStar Animals or Kaluga's Appalachian Denizens, but I couldn't find any information about them. Description: ●Tamed using fish corpses ●Otter-like shape and same icon

ASA - The problem with the Mod Storage
TheMoschopsGuy replied to TheMoschopsGuy's topic in General Discussion
That's probably why -
What ASA creature should get a tlc the most?
TheMoschopsGuy replied to Lagonbreezey's topic in General Discussion
Carno. It's quite obvious why. Other creatures could be: )Ankylosaurus: An upgrade to its model and maybe some new abilities. i'd make him a little bigger, too. )Kentrosaurus: Make him rideable, like the one from Paleo Ark. I think it would incentivate players to tame it. )Megalodon: Another obvious one. Kinda useless. Maybe it could have some special abilities and a new look. -
Ark Survival Ascended, SOTF release
TheMoschopsGuy replied to Mathrandil's topic in General Discussion
1,7 gb? To me it shows up as around 2,4 GB,while the other is like 100 mb (PS5) -
Recently, when i was trying to download SOTF, an error was popping up, saying to delete some mods because the mod storage was full. Did it a few times and still the download didn't work (it would stop sometimes and then at a certain point it would reset), so i stopped trying. Honestly, this just sucks. I found other people with this problem and it looks like it happens only on console and the limit isn't the same for everyone. Also,i think having SOTF as a mod is not very logical, and i hope that Scorched Earth,Aberration and the other maps won't be released as mods (though unoffical maps like The Center will probably be).

Great Idea! I had also proposed Dreadnoughtus during last vote.

Introducing: Titanoceratops - Ark's Behemoth
TheMoschopsGuy posted a suggestion in Creature submission archive
Name - Titanoceratops apexTime Period - Late CretaceousClassification - CeratopsidaeSize - Around the size of a RexTamable - YesBreedable - Yes WILD Titanoceratops apex is a beatiful yet dangerous herbivore. His massive size and his horns scare most of the carnivores. A creature able to adapt to various habitats, Titanoceratops is found mostly alone , sometimes in pairs, in the woods, in the mountains or in the desert. While they're mostly peaceful, they may be alerted even by the smallest danger. Most of carnivores will die if they try to hunt this behemoth. The few who survive will probably die later due to bleeding. TAMING PROCESS Taming one is a complicated process. First, it must be isolated from others creatures, then it must be fed with a Giganotosaurus Heart . After a bit, like with the Carchar, you'll be able to ride it. With it, you must kill carnivores so that a "Fury Bar" is filled. Bigger carnivores fill the bar more than smaller ones. After the bar is full, you'll be rewarded with Ark's Behemoth. DOMESTICATED If you're able to tame this beast, you'll discover that it's a living tank. They're really great for farming resources, especially metls and rocks, and they're able to carry lots of things. They also are irritatd by big predators. If they're near one of them, they will be infuriated and they will go amok. An Infuriated Titanoceratops can destroy entire armies. They also have a small platform saddle. It's not very big, but it can be used to build a small base. ABILITIES RAM - A Titanoceratops can ram into enemy's buildings, wrecking them. Only TEK structures can survive to a Titanoceratops, even if they will still be quite damaged. FARMING RUSH -A Titanoceratops can ram into trees or rocks, and it will gather lots of resources, especially if they ram into rocks or metals. FURY RUSH - If a Titanoceratops is near to any carnivore bigger than a Carno, it will go amok. It will deal 25% more damage, but will be more vulnerable,as it will lose 25% of armor. BLEEDING TEAR - A Titanoceratops will hit enemies, causing lots of damage and, if the enemies are bigger than a Carno, they will be bleeding, too. DOSSIER INCOMING! (ARTWORK BY DILONG)- 3 replies

Community Crunch 355: ARK Roadmap, EVO Event, and More!

I think they're still going to update ARK AS even after ARK 2 will be released. After all, PS players won't be able to play ARK 2, so... -

Actually, they said they're gonna update ARK AS with new content. Also, there will be changes that may be small or very impactful. -

Well, i doubt this is a joke. This doesn't feel like Ark:Survival Devolved at all -

Looks like Ark:Survival Ascended will not only be a remaster of Ark:Survival Evolved but will also add some changes and maybe even new things. Lots of people are pointing out that this was announced as a free update, but rebember that ,for example, they also announced Ark Primal Survival and that's never been released. Also, as i said before, it adds new things, and will be more like a new game than a remaster. I think the price is fine. Xbox/PC players will get everything that Ark:SE offers but updated and Ark 2 at $50, when if bought separately they would cost around $180. PS players ,like me, will get Ark:SA at $40,which is half the price of Ark:SE .(but if you want the OG DLCs too, you'll pay the same price for the original game, but that's still convenient, because you will spend more if you buy Ark:SE with the DLCs.) I'm more of a singleplayer player, but i understand all the people who are protesting due to the fact that all Official Servers will be erased. Also, the fact that mods will be available for every platform is a very great thing. Anyway i'm also disappointed that ARK 2 won't be on Playstation.
