  1. As far as i can see no one is winning with this situation. PC players are experiencing so many crashes, playing a game that is massively untested, and this is just in single player let alone online. So there is no way Sony were going to allow a broken game to be released as it has been on PC. I can't comment on Xbox as I have has PS products since the PS1 but Sony have always been very strict to unsure a game actually works somewhat. WIldcard should of known this, No one forced them to say they would all be released at the same time. They put this on themselves. After the Nitrado loan they could of done themselves a favour and said that it was unlikely that all platforms would be released the same time knowing a huge deadline loomed and that it was unlikely it would pass cert on console. This all falls on Snail games and Wildcard management who run about like headless dodo's because they can't manage a game launch or their money. Launching a trailer on Xbox partners thing, then announcing it will be released on steam later that day and that consoles will be delayed is a perfect example of headless dodo's, Surely info should be reported by one means first, like a hub, like official website or survivetheark.com then filters down through x (twitter), discord etc Unfortunately the result is the the amazing art/design team at Wildcard who have not only created an amazing trailer but a great graphics upgrade from ASE but the community is presented with a huge Sh*t sandwich, regardless of platform, which we are all having to bite.
  2. Wildcard Do you thank the guys who bought the game last week only to find out tonight the servers were closing? This screenshot was about 2 hours before the servers shut down. You had the means to inform people officially and didn't bother. I uncryod all my favorite dino's this evening for a group photo but spent more time informing players on the server what was happening. These poor guys in the pic weren't the only ones who didn't know. Although i'm not happy and I feel sad the servers have closed, i understand it, but to make no effort to inform players through official means is totally sleazy. The phrase 'Don't bite the hand that feeds you' seems very relevant at this time.
  3. Wildcard May i suggest you remove the Ark News section from the Ark start screen on playstation when you release ASA. As it is completely pointless on ASE as you haven't bothered to put a note to inform players the servers are closing down. I consider it, very important news considering the time and effort to tame, build bases etc and it's all going to disappear. From my experience of playing ASE you see elements that truly are with the very best in the gaming industry. Then there are many elements that are the worst, that fall well below what is deemed 'industry standard'. Please try and sort out the many things that are below industry standard when you release ASA, if not for the community then do it for the many talented staff in your company. As it tarnishes the great work they do and quite frankly makes your company look amateurish.
  4. 2 months since the news of the official servers closing down your plans for Ark's future and there is still no mention of the servers closing down in the Ark news section on the start screen. To make things worse you put news of the ASE Ultimate Survivor Edition!. Which costs £40 and in PS store it's advertised as 'online players of up to 70 players'. and no mention that online servers will close down either. It's shameful the way you go about things. Do you have any respect for your player base? In my opinion you are doing yourself no favors. I was considering upgrading to a PS5 and buying ASA so i could play official pve again. Something i was reluctant to do as in theory your stopping me playing a game and then selling the same game back to me. These past two months could of been a time to win back my trust by ensuring that people are informed whats happening in August. That would of restored my faith in Wildcard. However, the way you have gone about things absolutely stinks and tells me a lot about your company. So i wont be investing any money to Arks future, i will just complete as many of the maps i can before official pve closes down and continue to feel sorry for the poor guys i see setting up new thatch bases with level 50 trikes etc who have no idea there stuff will just disappear in August.
  5. Another day, another new tribe setting up their thatch base on official Pve server. Once again they had no idea about the servers closing down in August. Wildcard, you are useless. Take away the info box from the main start screen if your not going to use it. It's as useless as a dodo in a boss fight. Here you go Wildcard just copy and paste it!!! The Official PVE servers will be removed in August. Sorry for any inconvenience. For more information visit www.survivetheark.com

  7. Releasing a new bug! Cool, i would of preferred news you were removing the bug you released in March in an update that causes my ps4 to DC almost every time I transfer server or quit the game on official Pve. Unsurprisingly there is a somber mood on official Pve servers since the very sad news. The only thing i can compare it to is when a save file gets corrupted and you lose all the work you have done. You are giving this hollow feeling to a whole lot of people right now. Yesterday, as I was flying about I see a new base appear and a guy busy harvesting materials. I stopped and spoke to the player (level 46). Was he aware the servers are closing down? Course not. He had only bought the game recently too. At the end of the day Wildcard and Snail games, it's your game. The concept is unique, superb, one of the best. The execution is shoddy. How to move forward is your choice and whether to listen to the community. If you don't it maybe your downfall, it might not. Time will tell. What is unacceptable for me is that you still haven't put a message on official servers or server lists that they will be closing down in August. Also that this information isn't in the PS store. I guess that is the same on Xbox and Steam. There is no excuse for this, it is just common courtesy. You could easily of done this in the past two weeks. So i wont be buying any future products from you, and remember Ark for it's great concept, the wonderful community and how the opportunity to deliver an epic game was missed.
  8. Ark 2 Delayed till 2024!!! Battlefield 2042 was released 21 years early!!!!! Pull ya finger out Wildcard. But on a serious note, i feel for all u guys and girls who have put so much time into Ark on official servers building, taming and breeding. Helping others, creating Dododex, sharing knowledge. I've played for a year on official pve and it hurts to lose just a years work, but have met some lovely people along the way and seen a lot of cool creations. Big up the cool Ark community, the fan base majority are great people.
