If that's the case it's not as good as I was hoping for. I like the map and can't wait for it as after 1600+ hours over pc and XB1 I'm bored of The Ark but Primitive Plus doesn't interest me. Hopefully this changes once the game is finished and released because there are mods I want to use that probably stand no chance of ever being added.

This is awesome news! I'm glad that the PS4 players are finally going to get to experience "something" ARK related. At the end of the day all platforms will get ARK and SOTF, except Wii U I guess lol. But PS4 has waited long enough for anything ARK related.

Some times items on a Patch get delayed due to more work being dedicated to other items if they need extra attention. Sometimes items will be postponed because there was not enough time to have it ready. There are plenty of possibilities, but it has nothing to do with the PC not being able to handle it.

Also please bear in mind that the Xbox Patch Notes were made prior to the PC Patch and therefore it may simply be that the Xbox Patch Notes haven't been amended since the PC ones were. Please also bear in mind that what the Xbox Patch Notes currently say are not always 100% set in stone.

Yes it is. You could try using the destroy all wild dinos command, or go on a killing spree. Kill some Dodos to free up spawn spaces.

You seem fixated on hardware here.

You understand what the Xbox QA Process is? It's a Quality Assurance process. Nothing to do with hardware, it is a certification process to ensure that Patches work, don't crash the Xbox etc etc. Steam does not have a QA process. But you seem fixated on throwing your degrees around and talking about micro processors?

Or when I say Xbox One process you think i'm saying processOR.

I don't have a degree, no, but I do know that Xbox has a QA certification process which is a much bigger obstacle for Patches than Steam has. Steam can get Patches out much quicker and considering the events are timed specific then it is easier to get them on Steam. No-one has ever said that Xbox will never get events. The Events are used to test these sort of things to see how well they go down.

This is my understanding of the situation. I could be wrong. But none of it has anything to do with needing to have computer degrees. So less of the throwing "I have a degree" in peoples faces.

No-one is being ditched. Be grateful you even have the game unlike PS4.

The method for deploying Patches on Xbox One is very different process than Steam. If you understood exactly what the process was then you might understand more why these events are only on PC for the time being.

It's not coming out on the Xbox. It is a PC only event.

To play the new SOTF you need to download the new one from Steam as it is a Standalone game.
