Actually they didn't "tell" Inquisitr, it was mentioned on a live Twitch Stream with some of the Devs. Inquisitr got it from that Stream, so they weren't privy to any more information than the player base that were watching the Stream too.

As Xbox is not getting the biome changes yet I don't think they will be added to the map yet.

I would have thought yes, but they take much longer to cut down than normal trees. If you don't want them cut down then defend them. But I have no idea on whether they can be cut or not.

No, this contest has nothing to do with the Console Mod program. However, that isn't to say it will never be selected to become an integrated part of ARK, but these results have nothing to do with that.

No, the bosses only appear at arenas, and nowhere else. You can't keep them, or tame them, or grow them from eggs as there are no eggs. You can admin spawn them but they despawn when you quit the game.

Bosses are not tameable i'm afraid, and they are restricted to the boss arenas so you can't keep them.

Yup they announced a while ago that Hidden Lake wasn't going to be changing.

10,000 signatures, hell even 1,000,000 signatures would not make WC release ARK on PS4 now. The game is still in Early Access and that means it can't come out on PS4 because Sony don't do an Early Access program that would make it work. So the petition shouldn't be directed at WC, it should be directed at Sony to introduce a platform that will allow for Early Access games.

PS4 players getting SotF in July is hardly a slap in the face. I'm sure it's better for PS4 to get "something" ARK related rather than wait until release without getting a single thing?
