  1. That's a great suggestion. The thing is there is already this option in ASE i think. Tho if the devs don't add it to ASA it would be great to add this to the simbakubwa indeed. What u said remind me of this feature in ASE:
  2. Here is an another idea i propose to you: The simbakubwas could also exist in a corrupted form, this variant being untameable. They would be fined in the waste lands. They would have the unfortunate tendency to form a horde of corrupt wild dinos under their command thanks to a bark specific to this variant. Maybe even add the possibility of taking your own dinos under his command, until you kill him? In this case, taking a tamed simbakubwa with you and of a higher level than a corrupted simbakubwa would prevent the latter from taking control of your other dinos. Concept art - corrupted form of a simbakubwa
  3. THE SIMBAKUBWA: you're new best friend! credits to gredinia who made amazing artworks and inspired me to develop this dossier. Go check his deviant page! Dossier transcription ๐Ÿ“–: Wild ๐Ÿž๏ธ: The simbakubwa kutokaafrica is one of the largest carnivorous mammals ever to have lived on Earth: it's much bigger than a lion! Simbakubwas tend to live in groups, but some can be found wandering alone in the abandoned city, in the desert biome, the sunken forest or the wasteland of Extinction. Males have a slightly darker, more developed mane than females and are slightly larger. Simbakubwas have a variable temperament: if they're hungry, they'll be very aggressive, otherwise they can be territorial, playful or cuddly ๐Ÿค—. Spawn locations ๐Ÿ“Œ: Domestication ๐Ÿฆด: To train a simbakubwa, you'll have to alternate several training methods: feed him with the corpse of a creature, pet or hug him (be careful you have to be very skilful as it can become aggressive), give him a bone to chew on (new item made from keratin or bronto bone I'm not sure yet) and finally play with him. Playing with him consists in throwing a spear or arrows as far as possible, and he'll have fun bringing them back to you. The farther you throw, the more effective the taming. Note: It's A LOT more easier to tame a baby than an adult in particular due to the fact that it will never become aggressive towards you. However, you have to isolate one and good luck for that because the parents will track you to your base to take their baby back. Also, if you kill the adults near the baby, it will flee and will not want to be tamed for a certain time... Tamed ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ: The simbakubwa is remarkably useful. It can stand guard, patrol according to a path you've indicated. The patrol is inspired by a mod. The simbakubwa also has a sense of smell, enabling it to search for resources or track down a target that you can so easily lose sight of on Extinction... This creature can be mounted with a saddle. Warning: the simbakubwa requires special care. If you don't give him enough attention, he may run away, be temperamental and no longer want to obey you all the time, and he won't hesitate to attack you if you beat him (his patience has limits...). You pay him attention by playing with him, petting or hugging him, giving him a bone to chew on or letting him sleep in a dog hut which would be a new item where you can store bones he can chew. โฌ†๏ธconcept art of the dog hut which requires: hide, pelt, keratine, sauropod vertebra, woolly rhino horn and fiberโฌ†๏ธ Note: I also thought he could be tamed with the old method (tranq arrows) but at the cost of having fewer affectionate bonds with him. Consequently, he would have more chance to flee, disobey, etc than a tamed with the method mentioned above. He Harvests: raw meat, raw prime meat, raw fish meat, raw prime fish meat, raw mutton, keratin, chitin, hide, pelt Controls ๐ŸŽฎ: , , : bite , , : grab (the simbakubwa bites his prey and doesn't let it go until it has energy left or his master signals him to stop. The bite slows down the target and can cause bleeding damage). Note: using this command on a dead creature let the simbakubwa shred it, thus harvesting more hide or fur than meat. C, , : sniffing (similar to direwolf). Your pooch goes in search of the target or resource you've asked him to track down. Space, , : jump X, , : bark Don't hesitate to share new ideas, propose some adjustments etc. โœจTHANKS FOR READING THIS ALL THING!!! โœจ
  4. Thanks โค๏ธ also i love your creature submission! I'm happy it gets a second chance It must have taken you a long time to do the illustrations etc. I didn't draw anything, only played a bit with an image editor but wow it took so much time ! Too late for me to be in the top 10 so I support you!
  5. Your idea is very interesting. Tho it'd be difficult to have both a mobile house and a cage for enemies... But still this is a really good idea and anyway, if this creature is chosen in the end (i'm probably too optimistic lol but who knows ^^') developers could take inspiration from it.
  6. I'm on my pc here's a screenshot so you can see the size of the text compared to the rest. I think the size is too big for the #Idea 2 section cause the rest is good.
  7. What an original idea! I LOVE this creature. + amazing artworks and efforts put on this one You deserve my vote! Could you just write a little bit smaller so that it's more visible?
  8. Here we go for another round of creature vote! \(^โ–ฝ^)/ I think it could be great to see more crustacean etc. in the game and it fits especially well in aberration in my opinion. Here's a dossier I made for the creature: * credit to Nix illustration for the image of the sollasin cthulhu transcription of Helena's notes: " Have you ever seen a giant starfish like with 45 tentacles? Cause I have and honestly, I donโ€™t know how Iโ€™m still alive. This creature eats everything that is in its reach but hopefully itโ€™s really slow. Iโ€™ve found some near water lakes and element rivers and apparently, it can climb on almost any surface. It often remains idle, camouflage in the environment, its tentacles retracted. When attacking, it immediately deploys them and itโ€™s really hard to escape. Once domesticated, you can harvest its 5 main tentacles (that will progressively regrow) and melt them to obtain element shard or use them to feed young starfish. Iโ€™ve also noticed that by giving them ascerbic mushrooms, it will produce an acid paste useful to create poisonous arrows. " Wild: This prehistoric starfish was the size of a large spider but due to the large amount of element on Aberration, it has mutated, becoming bioluminescent, extremely large, immune to element and able to eat humans! This creature will swallow everything it can that is in its reach (it's an aggressive creature). It patiently remain hidden with its tentacles retracted (it looks like a rock or a mushroom) and immediately deploys them when a prey is close enough. Hopefully though, it is really slow. They are found near water lakes and element rivers. It can live in water and element river but also on a river or lake bank. Once killed you can harvest: raw meat, organic polymer, tentacle, chitin, keratin Taming: Actually, you can't tame them but you can collect jelly eggs and put them in water to raise your own cthulhu. To collect those eggs, you have to be swallowed and you'll find them inside of its belly. Collect as much eggs as you can and kill the cthulhu from the inside to escape before the digestive juice kills you. When the eggs hatch, the young starfish normally devour the adult from the inside so you'll have to feed them with cthulhu tentacles to copy the natural conditions. * credit to SkugraDarXneZ for this amazing artwork i've just adapted a bit Domesticated: The prehistoric starfish has some pretty unique abilities. You can order them to stay idle somewhere and grab any enemy in its reach and swallow them (it acts like a trap/cage) you then have an option to ask it to digest the victim or simply keep it in its jelly belly. When approaching an element river, the sollasina cthulhu will shine more, meaning it's now able to charge batteries that are put in its inventory. When fed with ascerbic mushroom , it will generate acid paste in its inventory that can be used to make poisonous arrows (a kind of compromise between tranq and fire arrows). Finally, you can also harvest the main tentacles (and it will regrow after a certain time) and use them to feed younger cthulhu or melt them to obtain instable element shard . Other suggestion: Instead of trapping players, the sollasina cthulhu could be a mobile house (useful in pvp as it can camouflage and move). And maybe there's something to do with the digestive juice ability like being able to literally dissolve the base if another player is about to kill the starfish so that the enemy can't steal your stuff? These are the few ideas i have. Don't hesitate to share new ones, propose balance changes or anything else! ใƒพ(โ€ขฯ‰โ€ข`)o
  9. Hey everyone! I love this creature I think we need more birds in the game. Because it looks like an ostrich here is another suggestion: Why not adding an ability to bury its head in the sand so that it can feel vibrations in the ground and locate deathworms, (maybe phoenix?) etc. ?
