Araneo is ugly, we NEED a cute spider in Ark and Maevia eureka is perfect for that role.

(This isn't my drawing, I found it on wikimedia.org and will replace it with my own once its done) Gastornis velox is slighlty bigger than Terror Bird, and unlike its counterpart found on other Arks, this one is a herbivore. They just love all kinds of mushrooms, which conviniently happen to grow nearly all over Aberration. Wild members of this species aren't necessarily agressive towards survivors, but saying they're territorial is definitely not an exaggeration. But you can use that to your advantage, when trying to tame one. As a tamin mechanic, you'd need this bird to start chasing you first. After it begins running at high speed, set up a tripwire trap and make the creature trip on it. This will stun them for a moment giving you the opening to passively feed it rare mushrooms or any other kind of mushroom. Once it gets up, repeat this process until tamed. When tamed, it serves as a great companion for players who are yet to venture into the more dangerous areas of Aberration. For its size, it packs a punch and its health pool isn't too bad as well. However its speed is what really makes it stand out. It's one of the fastest creatures on all Arks. Gastornis doesn't use stamina while running and while doing so, builds up momentum. This bird can use said momentum to perform wall runs or run up semi flat walls. Performing those stunts will gradually decrease it's stamina so pay attention, you don't want to end up on the edge of a wall without stamina. Also, since momentum builds up while running, it instantly drains if the creature stops or slows down. Another ability of Gastornis that will help its tribe travel into more dangerous areas of this Ark is its relation to mushrooms. When mounted Gastornis enters an area with spores or radiation, it will attempt to eat mushrooms from its inventory to counter these effects (This ability won't work if you don't have any mushrooms of needed type). By doing so it grants the immunity to said debuff for a long time, both for itself and its rider. Other than that, this creature is good at gathering berries and excellent at gathering mushrooms. It's jumps are also comparable to that of Deinonychus.
