ah that would make sense... I just deleted the game and reinstalled it, I am able to play online now. But am wondering if it was just the PSN and I deleted the game for no reason lol. If anyone else is still having an issue later on, try to reinstall. (I tried the advice of powering down router and playstation it didn't help) but... it was probably just the network if all of a sudden only PlayStation players were having the problem.

I'm not sure PS5 has the equivalent of "quick resume". I usually close my games before putting PS5 in rest mode. I've tried turning the PS5 off completely. I've read people with xbox having to factory reset their console to fix the problem... I'd really rather not try that on my PlaySation if there is another fix. I'm going to try to uninstall / reinstall the game first. I've only had ASA for about 2 weeks, won't loose too much on single player, but this is a really annoying problem, especially if its a consistent issue.

**EDIT: PROBLEM FIXED PSN was down today.** Hello any help on how to fix this would be great. I play Ark Ascended on PlayStation 5, and when I try and join a game I get the following error pop up: Can anyone please explain what this means? I was playing online last night. Shut game down, put PS5 in rest mode, woke up to this error msg when trying to log in. Did not change any settings on my PlayStation (as far as I know). I've restarted the PlayStation, thinking of reinstalling the game, but wanted to ask for advice before trying.

that would be nice. Severs coming to an end is a natural part of online gaming, but still not looking forward to it's end. I hope "beginner" servers continue to operate in the same way for Ark: SE

Silly question but Beginner Servers are Official right? I mainly play 899 Beginner server PS4... luckily for me I don't have to worry about losing everything like most of you because it wipes every 8 weeks... but damn I'm going to miss the community. It's a very competitive and active server with a lot of the same tribes competing for top spot each wipe. Server wipes are always a rush, I've been playing with or against a lot of the same players for years. But the RIP to official and PS4 I'm guessing this is RIP to the game as I know it. I know there are so many ways to play the game, but this was the one that kept me hooked. Sorry had to vent. I don't mind paying for an upgrade... just the server shut down seems very sudden.
