I have lost the number of times I have turned in tickets for rag 382 for taking five minutes real life time to save then, there is a stop after that not to mention the dc'ing that is going on like crazy. You offer up a place to send all of the information yet, nothing is done about it, it is like a bad joke. The other two servers I have been to does not have the save time that this particular server does and, I still haven't figured out why because other servers have just as many players and therefore dinos. When a seasoned player puts ticket after ticket, after ticket in to let engineers know that this particular server is not even doing as it normally does and is in fact doing worse, absolutely nothing is done about it. This reminds me of the game Atlas, after a while they actually fessed up to the fact that they were getting rid of Q&A which I thought was a cowardly thing to do. Events are horrible, not only with the lag but the dc'ing and the save time and then the times in between the saves are so short you can't really start a project because you just know that any moment the stop will start. When you look at it five minutes save time every ten to fifteen minutes you are playing a game that offers you about as much save/dc/crash time as it does play time, how is this fair play? Why isn't this put in the description of the game before anyone buys it? I have taken up for you guys for a long, long time now but when you ignore someone that has played for many hours on the non working aspects of a server well, maybe it is time to put Ark away and do another review. Don't set plates for dinner if you don't have enough food to put on them in other words, don't offer something you can't deliver. Sad day in Ark.

Agreed, would be nice to know why and if they are fixing it. Need new server/map managers who know how to actually fix the problem instead of putting a band-aid on it, I think their degrees have expired.....

I wrote Battlemetrics and asked them where they got their averages from because from what I myself was documenting it was out by the planet Pluto! They replied to me with:We rely largely on queries to determine if a server is online, how many players are on that server, and for how long. If a query fails we mark a server as offline, as we have no other way to determine its uptime status. Obviously this can create problems when networking or routing problems prevent a successful query while the server is, in fact, online. Unfortunately this is just a fundamental limitation of our ability to know the status of a server and I don't think there's anything that can be done about it.

Well the only issue I have with WC the devs is not pushing to have the rag server running more smoothly, other than that I think they do a wonderful job and even comment often how they spoil us like on the Christmas events as well as others and honestly they do, no other game does as much as they do ( imo ) on events and I am thankful for them and, the game as I will always love Ark however, the people who " fix " the servers may need another look at their capabilities due to the problem with mainly Rag being such a long standing issue, like, REAL BIG issue and not only the one I play on but others as well. Mine takes five mins to save ( I have timed it ) then another two before it jerks you back and forth to start play time again, this is not reasonable game play time, I spend half the time on there waiting, that in itself is a waste of time, they had fixed the wait time on Val but then put it right back to where it was as they stated the program that fixed it was overzealous......it was doing it's job and it was wonderful!! For a minute. Just please WC either check the server guys credentials or, update them or, hire others as this has gone on long enough, other than that love you guys!

WC, if you are letting this server die please let us loyal players know as it seems that is what is happening. 382 has been down for five+ days now, very little up time much less dare to break out any babies to raise that seems to be the scrooge part of this. Other members of friends on other Rag servers have also complained of the same thing, being down way more than being up and running. Turning tickets in only works for a very short game play I mean really, if it IS dying at least let us know so we can move our dinos if it isn't dying? Then fix it please this is such an old subject I really hate to bring it up at all but at the same time, it being such an old problem why isn't it fixed yet?
