  1. Have you ever lost a tamed creature in the wild and have no idea where you were? Well, here's a new helper to assist in tracking. This raptor can also locate specific materials, items, as well as wild dinos. Have you ever been looking for a specific wild dino and can't find it? Saurornitholestes will lead you straight to it! Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Carnivore Temperament: Agressive Wild Saurornitholestes closely resembles the raptor in size and speed. It even hunts with raptors, but this one is different. It also possesses an unusually large skull cavity for its olfactory bulbs giving it the keen ability to track other creatures with ease. Taming This creature is tamed the traditional way - knock out, feed it, and done. Domesticated Once tamed, the Saurornitholestes can help the survivor track specific wild species. It certainly needs to be familiar with its smell to sniff it out. So far, it has been able to locate any person in my tribe and any creature in our possession.
  2. My suggestion comes from the first known reptile to glide about 260 million years ago, the Coelurosauravus. I think Aberration could use another dino that significantly helps with early-game traversal. The Rock Drake is amazing, but it takes a while for the survivor to attain. The Draco Venenum will help traverse the map early on as it is proficient at gliding and climbing. I also think the taming of the creature is different than usual, as it is very similar to the Troodon. I also foresee the wild Draco employing hunting tactics like the Thylacoleo. Introducing a new tranquilizer from its venom could be interesting as well. Wild Card hasn't introduced a new tranquilizer with an even greater potency than the narcotic. Finally, I am fully aware that my version of the Coelurosauravus is significantly larger than what fossils have pieced together but consider the recently added Rhyniognatha. Wild Named for its potent venomous bite, this gliding reptile must be related to the much smaller Coelurosauravus. It's much smaller than the Rock Drake being about the size of a Parasaur. I will call it the Draco Venenum. Draco is capable of gliding flight via membranes formed by an enlarged set of ribs. It is one of the most agile creatures in this aberrant world. Taming The Draco cannot be tamed by conventional means. It is virtually immune to narcotics of any kind. To tame the Draco you must present it with a weakened tame of your own allowing it to paralyze it and then feast upon its corpse. The more powerful the tame, the more effective taming will be. Domesticated Once tamed, Draco's venom could become very handy in knocking out other creatures. Its venom is even more potent than the Basilisk's. Draco's bite will do the trick, but I've also been able to utilize the venom to make an even more potent narcotic. Draco proves to be a very useful companion early on in my adventure. 3. The amount of complaining from this community about everything just amazes me. Why do people need to complain about absolutely everything? Every week people find something to complain about. The fasola looks amazing and I voted for it, because, in my opinion, it was the best submission. But honestly, if we ended up with a little spider or a giant beetle or whatever, I would be happy and excited. I believe that's the appropriate response. It seems like most of the individuals in this community are extremely entitled and implacable. Wildcard doesn't need to remaster and improve our beloved game. They don't need to make Ark 2. They don't need to expand the amount of dinos we have. I have never played another game that is as consistently updated as much as Ark. Wildcard has given us an amazing game. In my opinion, it is the best game ever made. If you're pessimistic about everything, my recommendation is to not play Ark and go on to another game. No one likes to hear your persistent complaining.
  4. I've been playing Ark for as long as it's been out. I've played on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation. I have literally thousands of hours logged. I have to say, and I'm sure the majority of people in this community would agree, that this is one of the best games ever made. I quit, and then I return. I quit again, and then I return. Do you know why? Because there is nothing like this game. All other survival games pale in comparison. Why has Ark lasted so long? Because it's a good game, but also Wild Card has worked hard to improve the game and have given us added content through the years. I have not played any other franchise or played another game with the lasting power of this game. I think people need to chill out, pause, and contemplate the literal years we've been playing this game. There is so much negativity in this community. I bet 99.9% of people who are whining and complaining will end up buying ASA and Ark 2. Do you know why? Because they know the things I'm saying are true. Once they see that gameplay in UE5 they'll change their tune. Once they see Ark 2 gameplay, they'll be excited. Happens every time. But still, there are some people who wouldn't be happy if you offered them a million bucks...they'll wonder why and complain that you didn't give them 2 million. ASE is an old game and it needs updated. I'm excited and you should be too. I think we've definitely gotten our money's worth and the same will be true for ASA and Ark 2. Has Wild Card made mistakes? Sure. But maybe we should exercise some grace. I know I'll be one of the few who chooses to be positive... THANKS Wild Card for an amazing game! I look forward to the future of Ark!
