Also to clarify, I don't like Playstation at all and normally would have no sympathy because I will never plays God of War since I'm strictly Xbox buuuut I feel you on this one.

I posted this here in general just because it's general so don't go moving my post you sneaky moderator... Anyway I know it's silly but I took all next week off in hopes of this game coming out again. True story that I've taken vacations twice now for these releases (I get 6 weeks so no big deal) but it made me think that I really do love this game. The fact of the matter is that I get so let down by wildcard because I think deep down I want them to be better and I expect them to be better, it just doesn't pan out that way in reality which is slightly sad. I still believe in wildcard enough though to release on xbox next week even though I have a sinking feeling 😕 that it will not. Chances are I'll have to take a 4th vacation if they reschedule lol. I feel like I'm a game stalker at this point..... Just my rant for the moment.

If you tame a couple good bears and breed them properly they can easily become a powerhouse. They definitely serve the purpose of getting honey though so this would be one of those "eye of the beholder" things. I think they are great.

It will not be coming out on the 14th as promised again. Sooooo yea...

Any pc players that can confirm if we have these official servers yet? Or maybe once consoles release

So I'm on Xbox so I havnt played yet but I've watched alot of the videos. It seems that temperatures have had alot of factors added into Asa that were not in ase. Mainly I'm guessing the part where you can't stay in the sun at times during the day or you will overheat. Just fly in the shade and it will go away. Once again I'm on Xbox so I haven't tested this but I have been paying attention to all the videos and there are hot spots and hot times where you definitely need to operate in shade.

Offline raid protection on a 15 minute timer after logout was the best official server I have ever played on. It got rid of so many of the problems alot of the posters here are talking about. Orp servers made us a community but we were always aware of each other. One day we would be killing a boss together and the next we might argue and start a war with the same tribe we just killed bosses with. On another hand for the bobs that spawn on the beach and were called human, yea your going to die viciously and without remorse. If you weren't having dialogs with people on the server you were kill on site for the most part. At the same time though you could never really trust who is talking in chat because it could just be a online check to see who can be raided and that just created a whole different dynamic I don't think alot of ark players are aware of. The bad side of orp was the pincoding of everything and then making a new character and just using the offline protection main base through the pincodes as a separate character. If they can figure out how to fix that then I would say ark orp pvp is how the game is intended to be played. Just my 2 cents though.

I'm an Xbox player and haven't yet tested the new mechanics out yet but I'm very well versed is ase . With that being said I'm 95% sure you have a snap point issue. Pickup the ceilings and walls for that whole corner and the blocks next to them. Rebuild just the corner after that and see if you get same effect. My guess is that you have a whole wall or ceiling with 1 snap point off location and you didn't catch it while you were building.

So I have no clue about this as I read through all of the posts etc. May have missed a post/communication somewhere. So I will just ask.. Do steam players currently have access to cross servers that eventually will be crossed with pc,xbox,Playstation players? If yes I'll ask another question and if no then disregard. If yes then why on earth would that be an offered as a server right now and why would you join it without the intent of being further ahead that the other 3 platforms? Seems like it would take the fun out of ark knowing your weeks/months ahead of the other platforms 😏. Also if yes then I would say once the all platforms are released then there should be a new set of cross servers that supports all 4 platforms with a fresh start. I don't want to play catchup but I can see some people finding a challenge in joining a server that's already ahead (Just not me, I suck at pvp in the first place 😅). I know that would be telling the steamers that you either roll a fresh character on one of these new servers or stick to the server that you believed would lead to an advantage in the long run. But putting the overall community before just one seems like it would be fair by adding new cross servers and have the option to either join or stay with previous cross servers. Disclaimer: all of this could have been addressed in a Cc or another dev post but I just haven't seen it and it's still unclear to me. So don't flame me if that's the case lol. I'm bored and curious.

Does this dog play overwatch perhaps? In all seriousness though, I stated before that he could have been lying 100% (its Thursday now so obviously). As far as game pass I took a screenshot of it stating exactly what it says on Xbox currently when you look up the game. I'm going under the assumption that they specifically call out gamepass or ultimate sold separately. I have never noticed that on any other game before but then again I guess I never paid attention to it. It is not in the coming soon to Xbox section either on the Xbox store so naturally I would assume Xbox game pass. I'm no mathmatrician <-- 😀 so I can't speak to what would be more lucrative for wildcard/snail to either direct 🤔 release or put on XBGP. The signs that my little 🧠 sees says XBGP but I'm just a random code in a big simulation. P.S - I could care less whether it's direct or xbgp , I just want to play sooner than later. I still do not like how the release was handled leading up to it but I've since calmed down. Still a little pissed 😤 that consoles only get *november* as a expected release... I'm bored watching PC gamers YouTube uploads while I make my BBQ ribs so I had time to rant.

There's a guy I play overwatch with that says he worked for whatever company helps with gamepass. I have no clue whether he is lying but he said that he worked with whatever integration company before I even brought up ark before months ago. When I brought up Asa with him he went on to tell me that it has already been on gamepass and also went into a whole story about how it was not ready for release on Xbox but they expected it to be by Friday. I said all that but let's understand that this dude could be a complete liar as I only know him through overwatch. I take it with a grain of salt but like to think he's not a liar. We will see.

I wouldn't have until I found out it's going to be on gamepass for Xbox. I already pay monthly for gamepass so I'm not going to cancel that just because of ark. If it was separate from game pass I probably wouldn't have bought it at least until extinction. So it's a no Brainer for me to just play Asa on gamepass because technically it's free for me since I already pay a subscription.

Well my friend, welcome to ark (sometimes). Only thing you can really do is switch servers. What you describe is the reason why I liked the orp pvp servers (so I could kill them) but I'm not sure if they are in the game yet since there's no cross arks yet. You can either go to a non official server with moderators or accept that that is one of the things that come with official.

When I look at the game on Xbox to show in Microsoft store it says game required subscription to play on console. (Gamepass or Ultimate sold separately. Just a heads up for those who don't know. P.S: I'm hearing Thursday release next week for Xbox. Not sure about Playstation.
