XBOX NON-Ded Server Recommendations?

I've been trying to figure out if/how I can keep random strangers from joining mine and my friends Non-dedicated server on Xbox as well as if there's anything I can do to increase the host tether distance? If anyone has any info, that would be appreciated as I received no answers from Ark support on this. Also, I am not able to play on PC.

Below is a list of things I tried and that have failed:

 

1. I am not given a host tether slider in world settings, that is only for PC players.

2. Dedicated servers or Private Matches do not allow my friends to join the server even when invited.

3. Setting a server password also does not work as ASE will not ask my friends to enter said password when they try to join.

4. I have gone into my Xbox privacy settings and set everything I could to just friends. This does not keep my server from showing up to strangers in the server list.

5. I selected Hide Server Info in my game options panel just to see if this did anything. As far as I can tell, it does not since randos have still been able to get in.
