Game Crashes Exiting To Main Menu

Ark game is getting continuously crashing while getting the game saved always.  I am facing the continuously for past 6 to 7 months.  Kindly fix this issue.  I can't able to play the game.  This is the best game I have ever played but due to this bug I am getting frustrated.  Story mode and Custom mode both getting this crash.  While leaving the game getting please report this error etc only.  But after that no issue has been fixed.

Since TSOTF came to PS4, my Single Player game on Valguero crashes every time I quit to the main menu screen which causes my game to not save.

I'm really not enjoying the amount of in game crashes recently, even on Single Player which is supposed to be less "crashy"

Same here, exiting to main menu, but it does not get to main menu it crashes instead. This started back in March right after the update on both mine and my sons PS5 and there have been 3 updates sense and still it crashes when you attempt to exit to main menu consistently. We have tried the bed, bunk and no bed thinking it was something with the bed but that isn’t the case. We did not have this issue prior to that update.

It's ridiculous and pathetic, a game that has been out on the marked for nearly a decade still have baby issues 😒 Savepoints in a survival game shouldn't be a problem but yet it is. I can play for hours and see how the the system saves the game. Demolishing structures, dismounting tames are ways to make the system save automatically...however its just BS. Whenever I try to go to main menu, the game crashes and even with the stupid save world command, the system seems to hold on to a much older save point, making me lose hours of "work". And that is something...a game that requires players to write system commands for it to work, is a bad sign in general. Same with balance of dino spawns, when you have to spawn in dinos to be able to advance in the game, its going down the drain. Since I first played Ark years ago, this game have surly become a mess. FIRSTLY, I have payed for this product which is not working as it should, secondly, the producer doesn't fulfill their part when ignoring problems like this. In my opinion, it would be fair to claim my money back. People seems to forget that we, the costumers hold the true power. Without us they are nothing...I wish all could ban this game until they actually do some improvements. Sadly, that will never happen.

I also noticed the crashing increased after ASA came out.  When the official servers went offline, I used admin commands to give me everything back in my local Fjordur.  Not only does the game crash frequently without any pattern, it crashes more often than not when trying to exit.  That is why I have gotten into the habit of doing "admincheat saveworld" every few minutes and always before exiting.  However, (see my recent post on this) I recently was in a hurry and did the saveworld cheat and (I think) killed the game too quickly.  Now my save is gone entirely.  If I try to play Fjordur, the save icon is not next to it.  A new Fjordur day 1 is launched.  What a broken piece of ****.  I'd probably switch to ASA and use admin commands to get all my stuff back again, but the developer/publisher decided to make ASA a money grab.  You cannot start an ASA server on a PC and play it with an XBOX.  Local servers only allow pc players.  XBOX/PS players have to get bent over by Nitrado.  Pigs will fly before I pay Nitrado the crazy amount they are asking.  I think I'm just done with Ark.  Hopefully a competent studio will make a similar game.

On PC I had a LOT of crashes initially. To the extent there were "prohibited areas" (usually with lots of dinos and useful stuff) I could not really cross and dangerous to come near (dangerous to look at - it crashed on looking)

Until I found magic parameter "-norhithread"

No crashes any more, settings mostly High/Epic (except Shadows and Textures are on Medium)

 

I hope you'll find some kind of alike solution for console
