Picking enemies seems a lot harder

Regardless of the constant ridiculous server lag etc is it just me or does the picking enemy players hit box seem much smaller?  

Ngl I kinda like it if its a higher skill cap thing now, but maybe its just the servers running like ass idk

I feel like I've been successfully picking above average between me, my tribe and all the enemies I've fought.  I'm trying to figure out some little tips and tricks stuff to increase my success rate but haven't nailed anything down yet.

I think some player making ant sized characters make a difference too. But i think just general performance and latency is having the largest impact, best thing to do for now is hide in a little rat hole and look out at the entrance, waiting for the alphas zooming about on super speed dinos about to god mode you.
