Zeynking
Do you think there should be new types of food for ark 2, like each dinosaur having ita own meat type: rex meat, dodo meat, etc. And each fills up your hunger better and/or give special effects. What do you think?
Gecko1611
That would be a good idea, but maybe less types than that. Maybe there could be Carnivore Meat, Herbivore Meat, Insect Meat, and Fish Meat. I would also like to see more types of crops and crop plots, as well as different cookers for different foods.
Pipinghot
I could see having a couple of species that are specific to a single map that form their own mini-food-chain, but the idea of having specific meats as a general addition to the game for many species is unnecessarily complicated. Being required to have many different types of food in troughs sounds like time wasting micro-management of resources. The last thing I want to see in the game is having tames die because we forgot to farm meat from some specific target species.
swept
more crops would be awesome, not too much of a fan of having dino specific meat but it isnt necessarily a BAD idea just maybe overkill
Duskshrieker
I agree with the other comments, having a type for each dinosaur would complicate things unnecessarily, however I could see a function such as red, white, and fish meat being differentiated, adds a little more variety without over complicating it, might also allow for an expansion of cook able recipes.
