Which non-hunting(AKA safer) actions give me a good amount of XP?

I would like to know, which action that is not hunting gives the most and least XP. The actions must not be hunting related, and I am at level 18 right now. May someone assist me?

Probably the fastest xp is a good explorer note run however it is not repeatable. For a more reliable source of xp you can harvest and craft. The items you craft will depend heavily on what resources you can easily acquire. 
 

I recommend setting up base on herbivore island if you’re after a no hunting experience. Than taming a anky to farm the metal. If you absolutely don’t want to hunt you can get the hide from the predators that attack and die to the trikes
