First of all, I would like to clarify that the reason why we chose a big cat is because we see that Ark only exists today, the saber-toothed cat, the Shadowmane is a fictional animal, and the Thylacoleo is a marsupial, so we treat to obtain the best attributes of the Panthera
Spelaea to have a strong suggestion and a chance to expand the niche it would work in. Being more a type of predator that can attack its prey in a fast and forceful way, rather than opting for a long and repetitive fight in the aspect that it is not a battle for "mashing the buttons"

respecting the large size it had in ancient times, we take into account that Panthera Spelaea is larger than a thylacoleo but smaller than a shadowmane, being a midpoint

Panthera Spelaea is a ferocious animal found in the northern part of the icy mountains, being more specific in the rocky areas where their dens are located where they rest.
