Panthera Atrox is a Vicious hunter that lives in a Pride found sparsely in large forest and even open plains. Even though Pantera Atrox never found dinosaurs in its time on Ragnarok it has been able to get a decent foothold in the food chain here. They hunt prey such as Megaloceros Laatuscoronam and Megatherium Formipavor using its numbers and its immense strength to bring down stronger and faster foes. These powerful cats will even attack Tyrannosaurus if they get to close to their den though normally these attempts have a couple of members dying in the process

Domesticated:

Though they are not as fast or nimble as creatures like Thylacoleo they make up for it with their size and strength with the males being even stronger than the females while the females seem to be faster and have more stamina since they are lighter than the males. I have also witnessed that when creatures such as Microraptors and Icthyornis seem to flee due to the presence of these cats and large creatures such as Terror Birds or Raptors being scared off by a roar acting as a dominance display similar to the Yutyrannus's fear roar. These cats also seem to grapple their prey and foes down so they can suffocate them.

Abilities:

Left Click Attack: This is a bite attack that does moderate damage

Right Click Attack: This will do a Charge Tackle that grapples a creature if it hits and will start to suffocate the target. Note this will only work with creatures below a certain drag weight

C Key: A Fear Roar

Passive Abilities:

Pack Buff

20% weight reduction on Meat, Hide, Chitin, and Keratin

Any small aggressive creature that come close to the lion will gain the fear status effect

Miscellaneous:

The Saddle is unlocked at level 43

Taming:

So I have two ideas that could work for taming

Option 1. Simple knock out tame with tranqs

Option 2. You could maybe have to gain the one's trust by bringing them corpses and they wouldn't attack you during this. Also you have to do it when one is alone as if the pack is around it won't work

Panthera atrox, also known as the American lion is one of the largest felines to ever exist, being nearly twice the size of modern lions. Hunting many of the ice age's iconic megafauna like giant sloths, bison, and mammoths, these cats were incredibly powerful predators. Only outsized by the giant short-faced bear, they were the largest predators on the continent. Ragnarok is the ideal map for a large cat to thrive, as it's full of grassland, forest, and caves. In particular, the shallow but dark cave darted across the map is the perfect place for these cats, and their cubs, to rest during the day before coming out to hunt at night. 

Abilities:

-Swipe: A fast-paced swipe from its massive paws can cause a temporary stun and knockback to other creatures

-Bite: A standard bite that causes bleed

-Roar: A roar that negates the effect of the yuty and rhynio

-Cave climber: Adapted to the Arks caves, these cats can climb and scale nearly anything

-Pounce and hook: An impressive jumper, these cats can leap and latch onto the back of larger creatures. The resulting mauling can deal incredible damage in a short amount of time.

-Pack/Pride bonus

-Night buff: While still powerful in the day, at night cave lions are more in their element. Able to sneak up and pounce on nearly any creature, they can compete with the majority of the larger carnivores of the Ark.

Appearance: Male lions have slight fluff around the head and neck, but importantly don't have full manes. This is accurate to the real animal, who we know didn't have full manes like their African counterparts. Females lack this, but both genders are notably shaggy for a life in the cold. The legs and underbelly have striped and spotted patterns to blend in with their surroundings. 

Taming method: Adults cannot be tamed, but in their caves spawn cubs which can be imprinted once the parents have been dealt with. It's best to grab the cubs as soon as possible and evacuate the cave, as the adults don't leave cubs unattended for long.

The Panthera Atrox is a carnivorous mammal extinct species that belongs to the Felidae family, which lived in the west of North America and in the Argentinian-Chilean Patagonia region during the Pleistocene period (studies about its fossils indicate that it lived approximately 340,000 years ago). 

With a size of 1.25 m (4 feet), it is considered the largest feline of all time, being 25% bigger than the African lion. It is estimated that the American lion could reach a weight of 360 kg (794 pounds) and had a behavior similar to nowadays Asian lions that live alone and in pairs.

Skills: 

The Mighty Roar is capable of canceling the use of Shadowmanes' teleport ability (Warp Attack) and dismounting riders from any dinosaur attacked by the Panthera Atrox (except the largest ones). The roar will operate in a circular area with a radio range of about 15 meters (50 feet). It will have a cooldown with a duration of 30 seconds. In the case of the canceling effect of the teleport ability (Warp Attack) on Shadowmanes, the duration will be 20 seconds.
Bite with slowing effect: Each time that the Panthera Atrox bites an animal or a person, the victim will slow its movement speed (until 30%). The duration of the slowing effect will last approximately 3 seconds per bite and it could gradually increase the more the Panthera Atrox bites its enemies. The bites will use up about 10 stamina.
It has powerful claws capable of causing fast but not very efficient damage.
Damage Buff (Herd of Panthera Atrox): If there are three Panthera Atrox allied or more (it is necessary to have at least one male and two sisters), they will gain a X2 damage skill.
Panthera Atrox gives cold immunity to the user who rides it thanks to its thick fur.

Taming:

To tame the Panthera Atrox, simply give them any living herbivore or dinosaur to eat. The larger the herbivore animal or dinosaur is, the faster and more accurate the taming process will be. (editado)
