  1. Hello again, survivors. While I'm saddened by the delay for ARK Ascended on Playstation, this presents an opportunity for me to consider some preparations. First and foremost, I want ANYONE whose had a chance to try it out on Xbox, is the host tether still in the game? I typically like hosting non-dedicated servers, and gaming and exploring with friends I know and trust, but the host tether was VERY hindering from keeping them from doing their own thing, and exploring the map without me. So again I ask, console players, is the tether still around, and if it is, is there a way to disable or remove it? Any insight will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
  2. Okay.... So, today, I heard there was a lot of disappointment for Xbox and Microsoft people, due to the sudden change in ARK: Survival Ascended's release. Lots of people were expecting it to come out today, and got really disappointed by the delay with the certification process... it was sudden, unfair and put a hold on a lot of people's plans for their activities for the game. Does that excuse the behavior on the community's part towards the devs? ...... ABSOLUTELY NOT. I didn't see any of the posts and comments in the discord server, and if they're as bad as I've heard they are? I'm grateful I didn't. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the people who carried out these vile attacks. Delays happen and life is full on unexpected surprises, but nothing, absolutely NOTHING gives anyone the right to threaten people for a delay in a game's release. To those who carried out these despicable acts, you all should be ashamed of yourselves. You all didn't even stop and think that the delay is possibly because the devs are working around the clock to make sure ARK Ascended's release onto consoles is good and polished. Would you rather they released it and just see a bunch of bugs or crashing? PC players had a LOT of issues from the start, so I've seen in various videos across YouTube, and the devs have been working at their best to iron out the bugs and clean the game so it runs smooth and looks good while doing it. Developing a game of this size, beauty and detailing takes dedication, time, patience and perseverance. If you have no appreciation or acceptance for any of those qualities, which all the developers of ARK are teaming with, than perhaps this isn't the community you belong on. I'm personally awaiting its release for Playstation, I'm waiting just as long, if not LONGER than Xbox players, that doesn't mean I'm gonna throw a fit or hold a gun to someone's face and say "Release this or die"! That's just stupid, childish and wrong. It'd be threatening someone if I don't get my way. Actons like that don't make you unsatisfied customers or consumers, that makes you BULLIES. Remember people... be patient, tolerant, expect the unexpected... but above all? Be KIND to one another, especially the people who create this wonderful game.
  3. This definitely should be added in. ARK needs more large Dinosaurs and Ice Age Mammals.
  4. I couldn't begin to express my joy when I heard about the Dino TLC. The devs at Studio Wildcard have done it again is showing how much they care and want to give us the best experience as possible with ARK! If I could make an suggestion for a couple of Dinosaurs to be included in the update, I'd suggest the Trike, the Pachy, and the Pachyrhino. The Trike came to mind, because one thing I never liked was how small its model is. I'd suggest giving it a bigger, more smooth looking model. Nothing TOO big or fancy, but a bit more realistic, since that seems what the TLC's aim is for the creatures it's affecting. Triceratops was the largest of the horned Dinosaurs, and when I run into Trikes in my adventures on the island, I expect to seem them in epic fights with T-Rex, their arch enemies! Much like the Trike, I felt like the Pachys are too small. Fossil records show that most Pachycepholosaurai could be as tall as a person. I'd also recommend giving it a buff of allowing players to steer and control when they use its charge attack. It's really tedious having to stop and turn around mid-charge and be locked with no maneuverability. See if you can change that if you please? The Pachyrhino I feel is okay as is model-wise, but there's a small glitch it and the Trike share. Whenever they move their eyes around, some pixels appear and spike out around the bottom corners of the frills on the back of their heads. It's VERY distracting. Other than that, keep up the good work, everyone at Studio Wildcard! I can't wait to see what else you have planned for us in the Dino TLC!
  5. So happy for Studio Wildcard! Just curious... is the new Ice Wyvern model coming to consoles soon? I came across some Ice Wyverns on the Ragnarok map on Xbox One, and they still have the lightning wyvern look to them.
  6. If they put Structures + onto the consoles, I'll devote all my future ARK vids to Wildcard Studios!
  7. Is this game going to be released on a disc, will it have to be released on the Xbox One shop?
