Rajasaurus - Scorched Terror & Golem Eater

Suggestion

IMG_4143.png
General Details:
Rajasaurus is a ferocious predator, rivalling Allosaurus in size, but of a more stocky and armoured disposition. Rajasaurus thrive in the mountainous regions of the Scorched Earth. They do not generally mess with other creatures in its area, and as a result is also left alone, even by the apex Tyrannosaurus!

Rajasaurus specialises in tanking, and fighting a certain species of the desert. Wyvern breath does not affect Rajasaurus, in fact their volcanic origins allows them to absorb the flames and use it as an extra layer of protection around their body. Rajasaurus’ massive spikes also deter any damage to it’s top and sides, and a ridged belly does not give much scope for an underside attack.

Can proficiently harvest oil, sulfur and flint

How to tame?

Rajasaurus is not suspectible to normal tranquilizer darts, and as such the only known way to knock it out is by the use of large blunt weaponry, such as cannons or boulders. Rajasaurus are also not very aggressive, just territorial, and some intrepid survivors have been known to befriend baby Rajasaurus in the absence of their parents. (Since this will be in ASA, Wild Babies)

Suggested Abilities:

Left Click: Standard bite, recieves a slight damage buff if “fire” mode is active (~20%). Ignores Rock Golem damage reduction (no other native Scorched creature does this)

Right Click: Tail Slam or Head Slam, depending which direction the camera is pointing at. Tail Slam generates a mini sandstorm that works like squid ink, blinding dinos and draining their stamina. Head Slam causes a 3 second stun, very minor, but gets rid of those pesky threats! Bith moves ground fliers on impact.

C Activates “fire” mode, anything attacking Rajasaurus recieves the enflamed debuff (Can only be used if there are jars of pitch or sulfur in its inventory). The fire loses 20% of health over 10 seconds

X: Cosmetic Roar (maybe boosts gathering proficieny?)

— ”Fire” mode can also be activated when attacked by Wyvern breaths, Phoenix, other sources of fire (including Magmasaurs)

— Rajasaurus also recieves a 50% damage reduction to its underbelly and a 60% reduction to its tail (does not get bypassed by lightning wyvern breath etc.)

— Immune to weather event debuffs

My rendition of “fire” mode (very exaggerated take with a grain of salt)

Rajasaurus is a dinosaur that closely relates to the more well known Majungasaurus, but is a bit larger in terms of size. The Rajasaur in ARK could be about the size of a Carno, (depending on if there are any size changes in Ascended). Rajasaurus is an ambush predator, with a somewhat stocky build, so stamina would be a moderate issue. Its teeth are as short and stocky as the rest of its body, so it wouldnt do too much damage with its bite attack. Topping it all off, this creature had a bite force 10x less than a Tyrranosaurus Rex. How would it be able to kill anything? The Rajasaur would camouflage, not full on cloak like Rock Drakes or Desmodus, but take on the colors of whatever is behind it at the time of camouflage activation. It would also be able to go prone, moving slowly toward the target. Once prone and in range, the Raja gets an ambush boost, giving it more damage and a speed boost for a short amount of time, then it bursts into a sprint toward its target. If the target is about the same size or smaller than the Raja, it will latch on to it with its mouth. While latched on, the prey almost cannot move. The Raja can do 2 things here, if the target is smaller than it, it will pick it up and thrash it around dealing a ton of damage. If the target it about the same size, it will kick it with its legs, causing knockback, moderate damage, and stun.

Hello survivors,

I present to you the Rajasaurus. It seems to me that the game currently lacks dinosaurs that could give buffs to allies. Rajasaurus would become a faithful assistant for any player, as he is able to increase the maximum weight of allies in a certain radius from him as a percentage. Also, the Rajasaurus itself has a high maximum carry weight. In addition to passive abilities, he is distinguished by a debilitating bite and a special roar, but first things first.

Very very awesome, fulfills a different niche but I still ❤️

Hello survivors,

I present to you the Rajasaurus. It seems to me that the game currently lacks dinosaurs that could give buffs to allies. Rajasaurus would become a faithful assistant for any player, as he is able to increase the maximum weight of allies in a certain radius from him as a percentage. Also, the Rajasaurus itself has a high maximum carry weight. In addition to passive abilities, he is distinguished by a debilitating bite and a special roar, but first things first.

Basic information:

Common Name: Rajasaurus

Species: Rajasaurus narmadensis

Time: Late Cretaceous

Diet: Сarnivor

Temperament: Aggressive

Wild

This large theropod can be easily identified by its powerful hind limbs and a single horn on its forehead.

Rajasaurs tend to migrate frequently, covering great distances.

For representatives of their kind, they are very calm, but if you lose your vigilance, you can easily say goodbye to life. His bites quickly exhaust the victim to such an extent that by the end of the fight she cannot even stand up. If the Rajasaurus is severely wounded, it lets out a loud scream and quickly runs away.

Domesticated

Rajasaurus is highly valued among nomadic tribes. His resilience in travel lends strength to surrounding allies, and they can carry heavy loads more easily. If the caravan is attacked by predators or bandits, the Rajasaurus emits its trademark roar, which helps allies to flee or defend themselves.

Saddle:

The Rajasaurus saddle has no special properties.

Drops:

Passive Abilities:

     • Rajasaurus has a high maximum carry weight, and this indicator improves better than others.

   • Rajasaurus has an aura that increases the maximum carry weight of allies. The percentage by which the maximum carry weight increases and the radius of the ability can be improved in the characteristics of the dinosaur (they are improved separately from each other). The higher the level of a wild Rajasaurus, the higher these characteristics. However, it will be quite difficult to improve these characteristics, so do not flatter yourself. The weight increase effect will continue to work after exiting the Rajasaurus aura, but only for 15 seconds.

Active abilities:

•image.png.27d34207712b7cd0befc79e1977400ef.pngimage.png.ffbf47fdcb21acf05e406289161c42c9.pngimage.png.b7f19603f7556c848a510328a23f7f13.png- Bite strike that reduces the target's maximum carry weight image.png.15af9360a10f89fa2a498f7141c88cb2.png. Each bite on the target reduces the maximum carry weight by 5% for 10 seconds. The effect is such that the maximum carry weight cannot be reduced by more than 80%. If the target is a wild creature, then its speed is correspondingly reduced by 5% per bite for 10 seconds, up to 80%. Bite damage base 45 HP.

With a bite, the Rajasaurus dismantles corpses, receiving such resources as:

The effectiveness of the buff depends on the state of health of the rajasaurus: 100% - 80% HP - +5% speed and +5% reduction in stamina consumption; 80% - 60% HP - +15% speed and +15% reduction in stamina consumption; 60% - 40% HP - 20% speed and 20% reduction in stamina consumption; 40% - 20% HP - 25% speed and 25% reduction in stamina consumption; 20% - 1% HP - 30% speed and 30% reduction in stamina consumption. The roar effect lasts 45 seconds, and the roar itself has a 30 second cooldown.

  • [C]image.pngimage.png - menacing roar. It has no function other than aesthetic.

•[Left-Ctrl]image.png.d660a3b16e7bfc3c4e473a444ef2cce2.pngimage.png.51bd469484c4a8f3da07abf92de5656d.png - Rajasaurus uses its strong legs to extract resources in small quantities, namely:

228.pngFiber

228.pngThatch

228.pngWood

Taming:

The taming of the Rajasaurus is standard, forced (Your suggestions are welcome). However, once the stun hits 70%, it will let out its signature roar and its speed will increase by 30%, so to stun it, you have to be on a fast creature or trap it beforehand. Rajasaurus stun decays faster than others.

Favorite food:

228.pngExtraordinary kibble

228.pngRaw lamb

Breeding:

Breeding in Rajasaurus is standard, but the maturation of a young individual differs from other creatures. Young Rajasaurs are very moody and require attention more often than other creatures (once every 4 hours). For one fulfilled desire, affection is filled by 20%. However, every time the time for a new desire comes, the little Rajasaurus will start screaming loudly, and it will continue to do so even after the attachment reaches 100%. If you ignore the desires of the Rajasaurus, then after a while his affection will begin to sink, so do not make his majesty wait long.

Approximate base specs:

  80.pngHealth: 700

  80.pngStamina: 450

  80.pngOxygen: 150

  80.pngFood: 2600

  80.pngWeight: 800

Additional Information:

Rajasaurus can carry:

  50.pngWyvern

  50.pngQuetzalcoatl

  50.pngTusoteuthis

Affected:

  latest.pngLarge Bear Trap

Can damage:

  latest.pngThatch

  latest.pngWooden

Possible uses for Rajasaurus:

  • Buffer, which will become a faithful assistant in the extraction of any resources, as you can carry much more at a time.

      •  Improvement for the base. Putting the Rajasaurus in the center of the base will make it easier for the tribe members and their creatures to move around.

     • Fighting pet. Its unique abilities will help its masters in combat, as the Rajasaurus will force opponents to stand like pillars, and its accelerating roar will help allies escape in case of danger or catch up with a fast target.

      • Resource collector. Rajasaurus has a large weight and is able to extract straw, wood and fiber, therefore it can act as a resource collector.

     • Good vehicle. While on the Rajasaurus, you can escape most creatures by slowing them with a debilitating bite and using a roar. However, the Rajasaurus itself is a fairly fast creature.

It seems to me that the use of most creatures in the ARK is limited only by the fantasy of the survivors, so you can always experiment).

Thank you all for your attention!
