Since all of this information is going to be made available to the players, why not give us not just the last snapshot, but some snapshots from before that final moment. Right now all the biggest cheaters, as of the moment of the 3/31 announcement, still have bases in game. The game saves of this very moment, or any date from the last couple of weeks, will be a treasure trove of data on the bad actors.
If there was something to help you make your products better in the future, some of it is definitely sitting in the data files you still have at the moment. If you let your player population have at it, you will have several orders of magnitude of eye balls reviewing it. All the mesh bases, all the lag machines ...
I would hazard a bet that most of this will be decaying away soon enough, this is the time to preserve that info and hopefully release it with the final game saves you release. At least that would give me something to do while you drive everyone crazy with the next product.
