Genesis 1 A game bug at every turn??

So recently we have been working through the Ark story from start to finish and have arrived at Genesis 1. Starting in the Snow biome we are running into a ton of bugs. Missions fail instead of complete for some members of our group when hunting the brute deer. Tracks stop appearing and Helena gets stuck in a scanning loop. Feroxes tamed and untamed blink out of existence. Ferox climbing is terrible. Ice fishing mission is 100% unplayable, can't site or even pull out the fishing rod. Our play through up until this point has been relatively bug free and now it seems like this entire zone is bugged. We haven't ventured into any other zones yet but am starting to wonder if the other zones will be like this too. Should we pretend Gen 1 doesn't exist?? Haha. We are on our own unofficial server if that helps. Are others experiencing issues too with Genesis 1?
