Devil92
Would be a good In between to the Carno and allosaurous. Some information shows it was cannibal scavenger. A cool unique taming method would be to feed other Majungasaurus to it. Would also be good to have features of the direwolf or hyenadon alternatively could be another could Dino for keratin or chitin. https://www.thoughtco.com/majungasaurus-1091825

Dinorider2023
Majungasaurus, The Sauropod Tamer and Bossfight Support Dinosaur Two Majungasaurus together are capable of taming any sauropod in Ark. Brontosaurus, Diplodocus and specifically the Amargasaurus. Which, I think, is unfortunately only too seldom seen among players in Ark. Which is certainly due to the not so easy taming method. To tame a sauropod, one of the two Majungasaurus must bite into the dinosaur's tail. Then the second must bite into the neck of the sauropod after you put the taming food into the inventory. From this point, the actual taming begins. Once the taming begins, all nearby herbivores, lured by the sauropod's roar, will begin attacking the two Majungasaurus. In order not to jeopardize the taming and the taming progress, the player must now ward off all attacks until the taming is complete. Majungasaurus is a scavenger. He needs dead dinosaurs or spoiled meat for food. His diet makes him resistant to poison and bleed damage. By eating dead sauropods, he will be able to create sauropod elixir. Sauropod elixir significantly speeds up the taming of sauropods. Majungasaurus is the only dinosaur that can be colored like objects in Ark. In boss fights, the Majungasaurus can use the air sac it has in its throat to make a special sound that lures all small enemies away from the main battle and massively increases its own health value. The Majungasaurus has a special saddle connected through the neck to its small horn on its head, allowing it to carry another shoulder dinosaur. This, combined with his special physique, may make him a special cave dinosaur. A single Majungasaurus is able to put amphibious animals such as Sarco, Dimetrodon, Baryonyx or Diplocaulus into a kind of shock rigidity with its gripping bite. Which makes taming these animals easier. 'Mahajanga lizard') is a genus of abelisaurid theropod dinosaur that lived in Madagascar from 70 to 66 million years ago, at the end of the Cretaceous Period, making it one of the last known non-avian dinosaurs that went extinct during the Cretaceous–Paleogene extinction event. The genus contains a single species, Majungasaurus crenatissimus. This dinosaur is also called Majungatholus, a name which is considered a junior synonym of Majungasaurus. Like other abelisaurids, Majungasaurus was a bipedal predator with a short snout. Although the forelimbs are not completely known, they were very short, while the hind limbs were longer and very stocky. It can be distinguished from other abelisaurids by its wider skull, the very rough texture and thickened bone on the top of its snout, and the single rounded horn on the roof of its skull, which was originally mistaken for the dome of a pachycephalosaur. It also had more teeth in both upper and lower jaws than most abelisaurids. Known from several well-preserved skulls and abundant skeletal material, Majungasaurus has recently become one of the best-studied theropod dinosaurs from the Southern Hemisphere. It appears to be most closely related to abelisaurids from India rather than South America or continental Africa, a fact that has important biogeographical implications. Majungasaurus was the apex predator in its ecosystem, mainly preying on sauropods like Rapetosaurus, and is also one of the few dinosaurs for which there is direct evidence of cannibalism. DjHeky
Majungasaurus, a support creature, with different buff roars, one for damage boost, one for damage resistance boost, and one for reduced stamina drain + movement speed incrase buff. It will also have debuff roars, one for reducing opponent's damage, one for damage resistance, and one for increased stamina drain + movement speed decrease. Hermes1111
My idea may look bad at the beggining but please read it til the end, so you all can see that is good. Since majungasaurus is an island predator and is know for being cannibal, but is very similar with carnotaurus. My idea is to make him a two edged sword, making him be incredibly good in some things but also incredibly bad in others, related with where he is specialized and where he is not. His base stats will be the exact same as a canotaurus and will also farm the same things and in same quantities as a carno by standarth, however since he is an island predator he will receive a permanent buff/debuff called "Island predator" when he is on an small island like for example: "Dead island", this increase his damage, resistance, speed and reduce stamina drain by 200%, also make him collect 500% more of everything he can collect but if he is on an island map (like "The island", "Lost island" , "Fjordur" , "Crystal islands", "Ragnarok" and alike) but not exactly inside an small island (like Dead island) the buff/debuff will decrease his damage, resistance, speed and increase stamina drain by 50% and make him collect 50% less of everything he can collect. And he will not be suposed to spawn naturaly on non island maps, but if he is transfered to them (maps like "Scorched earth", "Aberration", Extinction" and alike), the buff/debuff will decrease his damage, resistance, speed, and increase his stamina drain by 100% and make he collect 90% less of everything he can collect. Also, since majungasaurus is tought to be a cannibal, every time he kill another majungasaurus and harvest their bodies, he will receive a semi permanent buff called "Cannibal dinosaur", this will make his food consumption be decreased by 50% and give 100% experience bonus to him, all players and all tamed creatures close to him in a very big radius, however the buff will only occur inside small islands and when the player get far from an small island the buff will be removed. Majungasaurus should only spawn inside small islands and in the same quantities as carno, he should be ridable and should be tamed using standarth knockout method. Kingkestrel373
Majungasaurus would be able to be tamed and ridden. It would have a flint weight reduction. When tamed it would be able to perform a charge attack that can gather lots of flint from rocks. It would also gain an attack boost from harvesting other majungasaurus corpses. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Majungasaurus
